Finding and mastering Pictos is a key part of getting stronger in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. From your mastered Pictos, Lumina can be learned to get more bonuses at once, but there is a limit to the Lumina points of each character, and that's where Colour of Lumina comes in.

While simply leveling up and upgrading your weapons can increase your overall damage, getting more Lumina can better round out builds such as the Auto-Death build and make your characters much stronger than just their base stats. Here are a few places to get Colour Of Lumina throughout the game.

Earlier Places To Farm Colour Of Lumina In Clair Obscur Expedition 33

Overall, there aren't many go-to places to farm Colour of Lumina early in the game, with the first major farming location being at the end of Act 2. Some early options are to always be on the lookout for merchants, as they usually sell a few. Once you reach the Gestral Village, you can find Berrami in the market, who will reward you with stacks of 20 Colour of Lumina for every few Expedition Journals you have found.

Berrami is unlocked as soon as you reach the village, and you can travel back at any time. If you don't visit for a while, the rewards will continue to stack.

Towards the very end of Act 2, once you enter Inside The Monoloth, continue on until you reach the very final flag at the end of Tainted Lumiere. From this flag, turn around and run back into the town and past the first group of enemies on the left. Continue down the left side of the road with the buildings on your left and the crack on your right. Look off to the right to see a grapple point across the way, with there being a Clair Obscur miniboss with two smaller enemies. This fight will always drop five Colour of Lumina, and can be respawned by resting at the flag, letting you farm it fairly easily without needing to be a very high level.

Late Game Places To Farm Colour Of Lumina In Clair Obscur Expedition 33

Upon starting Act 3, you should first head to the Endless Tower. Most of the trials will give you some Colour of Lumina, but also help strengthen you up to take on the later game areas. While just about any of the Danger locations will offer a decent rate of drops for Colour of Lumina, Renior's Drafts is arguably the best. Most of the enemies here drop Colour of Lumina, along with high-level weapons, Grandiose Chroma Catalyst, and just a lot of XP.

You'll need Esquie's ability to dive to reach Renior's Drafts.

If XP and weapons aren't your goal, the Clair Obscur farming method above may be the quicker option, especially if you're high enough level to clear it in a single turn. Arguably, the best place to farm Colour of Lumina overall is the merchant found in Renior's Drafts, though it also has the highest level requirement. From the Golden Tree flag, simply head back down the ramp and grapple up to the top of the building in the center of the previous area. If you can get to a point where you can clear the fight fast, you'll get one or two Colour of Lumina per fight, but you'll just need the right single-fight character and build to do so, along with a very high, if not max, level.
