One of the first things players will do after launching Battlefield 6 or playing a few online matches will be to head over to the Profile tab. This tab shows the player their Score, kill-to-death ratio, and allows them to edit their player card. Upon first navigating to this menu, players might notice that the background operator does not change.
Players who have unlocked different operators and character skins might be frustrated to find out they can't change the background operator anywhere on this screen. However, there is no need to worry, as there is a simple solution to this, but one that players might not spot the first time around in Battlefield 6.

How to Change Display Operator in Profile in Battlefield 6
After checking your Profile and finding out that the option to change the display operator is not there, head on over to the Loadout tabs and select any class you want. Here you will be able to see your loadout that you can edit and customize, and to the bottom left of the screen is an option, where you can choose a loadout or go with a custom one.
If you hover over the loadout, you will see an option to highlight the character and skin you have currently equipped. Press L3 on your controller, make your way back to the Profile tab, and the display operator will have changed.
In the case that you want to select a different Faction or appearance, both of those options are in the Loadouts tab as well. Here you will find multiple options of operators to choose from and equip a skin if you have unlocked any.
The easiest way to unlock some free skins is to play the Campaign. You will have to collect the dog tags for the skins, which will increase your total play time to 6 hours, which can be further shortened depending on which difficulty you are playing on.
Other ways of acquiring skins involve completing the class challenges, all of which unlock after reaching Rank 20.
