The new Roblox feature allows players to call people as long as they are on their friend list. While this feature is handy, many players do not know how to use it. Keeping this in mind, this guide will illustrate how players can call people on Roblox, along with other useful information.

How to Call People via Roblox Connect

Players can call people on Roblox by following these simple steps:

  1. Download Roblox Connect on a PC, Android, or iOS device.
  2. Give Roblox access to the camera and microphone.
  3. Access Settings on the top right side of the screen.
  4. Select Privacy on the left pane.
  5. Select Microphone and Camera Input.
  6. Tick the following boxes: - "Use microphone to chat with voice"; - "Use camera to animate your avatar".
  7. Now, players can select the Call a Friend button at the bottom of the screen.
  8. Select Start a Call on the left pane.
  9. Search for a friend to call.
  10. Select the green call icon.
  11. Players can end the call by selecting the Hang up icon at the top of the screen.

Once the friend receives the call, both players will be transported to a unique environment where they can walk freely, referred to as Free Play mode.

Players must have the latest version of Roblox to take advantage of this new feature. Some players may encounter an error informing them they are not eligible to call yet, which can be fixed by verifying their age. Players must be 13 years or above to use Roblox Connect, and they can verify their age in Settings > Personal.

It is worth noting that players on both ends will need to enable voice chat and verify their accounts before they can initiate or receive a call; otherwise, this feature will not work. Additionally, players should delete friends they don’t want to stay in contact with to avoid getting spam calls.

All in all, Roblox players should now be able to call people via Roblox Connect. Still, they must ensure they have given the necessary permissions, verified their age, and enabled voice chat to call people without any hassles.
