How To Add Friends in Mecha BREAK

Before you can jump into multiplayer in Mecha BREAK, you’ll need to complete the tutorial first. This includes playing through a mandatory single-player prologue mission, followed by two required tutorial matches: one standard 6v6 game and one Mashmak PvPvE match. Once these are completed, you’ll unlock access to the main menu and be ready to team up with others.

After finishing the tutorial missions, follow the steps below to add friends in Mecha BREAK and play together:

Launch the game. Once you've started Mecha BREAK, you'll be at your main Striker Bay/Hangar screen.
Look for a tab labeled "COMM" (for Community) on your home screen. This is found in the bottom left corner. Click on it.
Within the Comm menu, you should see an "Add Friend" menu. Here, you’ll see a search bar where you can type in your friend's in-game name. Make sure you have the exact spelling.
Once you find your friend in the search results, select their name and send them a friend request.
Your friends will need to accept your request in their own "COMM" or "Friends" menu for you to be officially added to each other's friend lists.

How to Team Up with Friends or Randoms in Mecha BREAK

Once you've added your friends, you can easily invite them to your squad before a match from the Friends page of the Comms menu.

At the time of writing, inviting friends directly can be a bit tricky. The “Invite” button may not work, and the friend list often shows a “no relevant info found” error.

How To Play With Randoms in Mecha BREAK

To play with other random players in Mecha BREAK, you need to click on the Recruit option. From there, you can either join an existing squad or publish your own recruitment, adding prerequisites like language, squad rules, and more.

Make sure both you and your friend are on the same server region. Mecha BREAK currently does not support cross-server play, so players on different servers won’t be able to team up.
