Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is a game that very few people were asking for. However, with owners of the original game able to upgrade to the remastered edition for just $10, it's become one of the most pre-ordered games on the PlayStation Store since its announcement in late September.
Former PlayStation Exclusives That Can Now Be Played On PC
Days Gone, Death Stranding, and Horizon Zero Dawn are just three of the many former PlayStation exclusive titles that are now available on Windows.
Naturally, a lot of the people who've purchased the game are now eager to learn when exactly they can start playing it. The good news is they won't have to wait too much longer, as the Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered release date and time are now mere days away.
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered Release Time (PS5)
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered will be released on at midnight on October 31, local time. As tends to be the case with first-party exclusives on the PS5, local time will be determined by the region of players' PlayStation Store accounts, meaning that those living in Australia, New Zealand, and East Asia will gain access to the game before anybody else. It's also worth noting that the US PlayStation Store runs on Eastern time, so anyone operating on PDT will be able to start playing at 9 PM on October 30.

Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered Preload and File Size
As of the time of writing, preloading is already live for Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, allowing players to dive straight in when the game goes live at midnight on October 31. To do so, they'll need a decent amount of storage space available to them, as the PS5 version of the game clocks in at a hefty 93.227 GB, which is around double the size of the PS4 version of the game (46.88 GB). Given how much better the remastered edition of Horizon Zero Dawn looks and runs, though, this probably shouldn't come as too much of a surprise.
