Players will stumble upon several locations from the modern age in Horizon Zero Dawn, and Cauldrons is one of them. These are hidden underground facilities in the game which act like mini-dungeons, requiring players to perform a series of traversal puzzles, and beat the machine boss at the end of it. Although these Cauldrons hold nice rewards, players also unlock the ability to override new machines after completing each one.

All Cauldron Locations in Horizon Zero Dawn

There are a total of 5 Cauldrons in Horizon Zero Dawn, including 1 in the Frozen Wilds DLC. Players will need to explore thoroughly to stumble upon a Cauldron entrance. After players find a way to enter the Cauldron, they'll need to use their platforming skills to progress through various machinery inside. At the end of the Cauldron, you'll need to fight off a machine boss, and then interact with a core to unlock new overrides.

There is a mention of a 6th one called Cauldron PSI, but players can't access it. Instead, they get overrides from Cauldron PSI after defeating the Corrupter early on in the game. The overrides include Broadheads, Chargers, Control Towers, Watchers, Redeye Watchers, Striders, and Tallnecks.

Here are all the locations of Cauldrons in Horizon Zero Dawn.
