  • Leaks reveal that Firefly is getting a new skin in Honkai: Star Rail for Version 3.4.
  • The Fate/Stay Night collab is also expected to come during Version 3.4

A new Honkai: Star Rail leak revealed that Firefly will be the next character to receive a skin later this year. Honkai: Star Rail currently offers a limited selection of cosmetics, and players have long been asking for more alternate outfits.

Honkai: Star Rail recently launched its 3.2 update, which, as it coincides with the game's second anniversary, has been quite rewarding for players. The patch gave fans double the regular free pulls, extra Stellar Jades, and a free 5-star character of their choice between Ruan Mei and Luocha. However, players are already looking forward to future updates with more exciting content. For example, it's been heavily rumored that Honkai: Star Rail's collaboration with Fate/Stay Night will launch during Version 3.4. Now, a new report suggests that another major addition is on its way.

A new leak from Luna and Galaxy Leak has teased that Honkai: Star Rail's Firefly is receiving a new skin during Version 3.4. The character will also be featured in the patch's limited banners. The leak doesn't share more information about the skin's availability, but considering that Firefly is a limited 5-star unit, it's unlikely that her new outfit would be free to obtain. Regardless, Firefly is one of Honkai: Star Rail's strongest DPS units and a fan-favorite character overall, so her potential skin could be great news for players.

Honkai: Star Rail Leak Teases New Skin for Firefly in Version 3.4

Aside from March 7th's skin in Version 3.0, Honkai: Star Rail hasn't released any special character cosmetics. If the leak about Firefly's skin turns out to be true, it could mean more units can receive new outfits in the future. It is also worth noting that Firefly has two in-game looks: her regular outfit in the overworld and her SAM battle armor in combat. If she receives a skin, both forms could receive alterations. Of course, some Honkai: Star Rail characters have Path variants that change their rarity and elements, like Dan Heng and March 7th. It seems HoYoverse isn't quitting this formula, as some rumors point to March 7th receiving a 5-star form in the Amphoreus arc.

Honkai: Star Rail's anniversary patch added the highly anticipated Castorice to the playable roster, and she has quickly become one of the biggest damage dealers in the game. Version 3.2's second half will add Anaxa, another awaited Chrysos Heir. However, anticipation for future Honkai: Star Rail characters like Phainon continues to grow as the Amphoreus storyline comes to a close.
