According to the announcement, the Special Program for Honkai: Star Rail Update 2.5 will be released on August 30 at 19:30 (UTC +8). Titled "Flying Aureus Shot to Lupine Rue," this event will air on the game's official YouTube and Twitch channels. It will finally introduce the long-awaited Feixiao and Lingsha as the new five-star characters, as well as a four-star unit known as Moze. All of these characters have already appeared in the game's main storyline. For many fans, Feixiao is probably the most anticipated character of the three due to her importance in the official storyline.

Feixiao follows Honkai: Star Rail's Hunt path, which could indicate that she will have strong single-target DPS potential. Her kit allows her to follow up on ally attacks, and it also includes action advance effects. Feixiao is expected to be a great pick for FUA teams in Honkai: Star Rail, and she should have great synergy with Robin, Topaz, Dr. Ratio, and Lingsha
Lingsha is confirmed to be an Abundance character who can fit into multiple different team compositions. Unlike Feixiao, who is expected to be a main DPS, Lingsha is better suited for Honkai: Star Rail's support role due to her ability to apply healing and remove debuffs from her teammates. She can also launch follow-up attacks with the help of her rabbit companion, Fuyuan.
These kit leaks should still be taken with a grain of salt, and players will have to wait for the Special Program to get more official information about the two new Honkai: Star Rail characters.
