With Honkai: Star Rail's latest addition to the Simulated Universe, Gold and Gears, a new expansion mode called Erudition path has become available for players to choose as part of their blessings, similar to how Swarm Disaster mode introduced the Propagation path. This addition provides players with even more blessings to collect and allows them to test out new synergies and strategies to tackle the new content.

The Erudition path in the Simulated Universe primarily focuses on increasing Ultimate damage, benefiting teams that can make full use of Ultimates. In particular, for characters like Argenti, unlocking this path as soon as possible is a good option to maximize his damage output.
How to Unlock Erudition Path?
The Erudition Path is automatically unlocked when players are exploring in Simulated Universe: Gold and Gears mode. However, to unlock it for other Simulated Universe content, players first need to unlock all secrets in Gold and Gears mode. This requires clearing Gold and Gears multiple times while paying attention to their Intra-Cognition range and going through different ranges. Upon unlocking all Trailblazer and Aeon secrets, players will receive a quest for the Finale. This quest requires completing the special Gold and Gears instance, allowing players to finally unlock the Erudition path.

How to Unlock All Erudition Blessings?
Unlocking all Erudition blessings also requires players to farm the simulated universe content numerous times. However, since in Gold and Gears mode, they can already access it without needing to obtain the secrets, this becomes the most efficient way to collect all blessings in a shorter time. Therefore, it is recommended that players choose the Erudition path when starting to explore and try picking its unobtained blessings whenever possible. Some additional mechanics, such as obtaining Sealing Wax of Erudition or Man-Made Meteorite curios, or purchasing blessings through Screwllum in Transaction domains, can also aid players in obtaining them more quickly.
Additionally, players should note that out of the 24 obtainable blessings (unlike other paths currently having 26 since Erudition has no Resonance Interplays from Swarm Disaster), 6 of them will only be available through selecting the Erudition path. Four of these are for Resonance Formation, activated upon obtaining 3/6/10/14 blessings from the path, while the other 2 are Resonance Interplays. Alongside unlocking Resonance Formation, players will need to obtain a minimum of 3 Elation and/or Nihility blessings to activate both. It is worth noting that these Resonance Interplays are only obtainable through Gold and Gears mode and will not be activated in other Simulated Universe game modes for now.
To maximize the acquisition of blessings in a shorter number of runs, players are recommended to ban path blessings that they do not particularly prefer. This can be done in both standard and Gold and Gears gameplay modes after selecting the desired path for the run. By doing so, no blessings from these banned paths will appear, consequently decreasing the pool of obtainable blessing options.
