Honkai: Star Rail's Pure Fiction mode, which will arrive in version 1.6, will give players four-star Quantum character Lynx for free.. During a Special Program dedicated to the next major version, Honkai: Star Rail confirmed that Trailblazers will be able to get the five-star Imaginary unit, Dr. Ratio, for free by completing the "A Moment of Peace" mission. In addition to free banners, players will unlock a pair of Light Cones, My Past Self in the Mirror, and The Baptism of Pure Thought, which have unique attributes.
The Pure Fiction mode, like Honkai: Star Rail's Forgotten Hall, is a type of combat challenge that requires players to win a series of fights against formidable enemies to receive valuable rewards, including Stellar Jades that can be used on the standard banner to get new banners. In this mode, the difficulty of enemies scales up as players reach higher stages. Another point to note is that Pure Fiction forces Trailblazers to choose from an array of random characters to build an entire team.
Honkai: Star Rail has confirmed that version 1.6 will give players who complete the "Youci's Clever Decor" mission and the second stage of the Pure Fiction mode a free copy of the four-star Abundance-type unit, Lynx. It will likely be easy to unlock Lynx, considering Trailblazers will encounter less powerful enemies on the second floor. As in Genshin Impact's Spiral Abyss, they will choose from an array of blessings that provide different buffs during combat. The more enemies players defeat in the Pure Fiction mode, the higher number of Stellar Jade they will earn at the end of the challenge.
Honkai: Star Rail's Lynx is an Abundance unit that fits in the support role thanks to her kit featuring energy regeneration and healing abilities. She can not only recover Skill Points but also give allies an ATK boost based on her maximum HP. Cleansing one debuff from the entire team, Lynx enhances her team's defensive capabilities through her supportive skill set.
As confirmed by the developers, Honkai: Star Rail version 1.6 will offer players a lot of content to keep themselves occupied until the release of Penacony, a brand-new explorable section based on old French cities. In addition to free characters, the upcoming update will bring two stages to the Forgotten Hall, where Trailblazers will encounter a lineup of enemies. According to the official blog post, the Forgotten Hall will have its rewards and content periodically renewed.
