A leak has revealed new information about Honkai: Star Rail's next world, which is rumored to be Greek-inspired. Since the conclusion of Honkai: Star Rail's Penacony arc, many fans have been looking forward to the fourth major world.

Towards the end of "Farewell, Penacony," the Astral Express Crew agreed that they would travel to Amphoreus next. It's said to be a mysterious planet that not even Akivili the Trailblaze has visited, and can only be seen through the Garden of Recollection's mirrors. Other than that, not much is known about Amphoreus, but many fans speculate that it might be a Thermae-inspired planet with Greek and Roman elements.

Honkai: Star Rail has officially revealed the upcoming gacha banners set to featuring during the Version 2.5 update, launching in early September.

Prominent leaker Uncle G7TDD8tv recently shared more information about the next planet, which is said to be based on the Greek Aegean Sea. In a screenshot reposted on Twitter, the leaker reported that NPCs on the planet are wearing ancient Greek-style outfits, and the enemy monsters are a mix of high-tech and divine elements. The true form of Herta as the Emanator of Erudition is also rumored to be a new playable character, and she's said to resemble a "snow witch."

Herta's current 4-star form is a puppet that's modeled after her younger self. Honkai: Star Rail fans can find multiple copies of the puppet around Herta Space Station.

When Will Honkai: Star Rail's Next Planet Come Out?

As with Honkai: Star Rail's major updates in the past, the fourth planet will come out in Version 3.0. There's no official release date yet, but it's possible that it might come out in January 2025. Apart from Herta, a new Ice-type character named Aglaea is also rumored to be introduced on the next planet, as well as an alleged new Trailblazer Path called Remembrance.

  • Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.0 estimated release date: January 2025

Because the next planet is said to be Greek-inspired, there are speculations that this might be the home planet of characters like Dr. Ratio and Himeko. Both are dressed in toga-style outfits, and Dr. Ratio, in particular, conjures up marble statues that are similar to the ones seen in Greece and even Rome. It will be interesting to see how the events and lore of the fourth planet and its inhabitants will impact the overall story of Honkai: Star Rail.

Among the HoYoverse titles, Honkai: Star Rail has a unique opportunity to expand its universe even further because of the vast cosmos it's set in. Existing worlds, like Xianzhou Luofu and Penacony, also continue to grow as the story progresses.
