The leak shares new graphical elements discovered in the game's files connected to "thorns," with previous leaks suggesting that Sunday's animations would heavily involve thorns. Thorns are already a prominent element within Sunday's initial appearance, featuring thorned patterns on both his jacket and within his halo. HoYoverse has yet to officially confirm an in-game playable debut for Sunday.
Speculation has run rampant about Sunday since his first appearance within Honkai: Star Rail, seeing a plethora of leaks about his full release.
