A Honkai: Star Rail leak has revealed several changes to the Pure Fiction mode in version 2.3. Honkai: Star Rail's Pure Fiction is a combat domain that allows players to test their teams and offers bountiful rewards. It requires Trailblazers to clear a respawning wave of enemies within the time limit to emerge victorious. This permanent mode works similarly to the Memory of Chaos, setting players against the most formidable enemies in the game.
The thing about Honkai: Star Rail's Pure Fiction is that players must gain as many points as possible to get Jade Feathers, which they can use to purchase enhancement materials. In order to collect points, they must build their teams upon their best DPS characters who deliver consistent damage. In addition to Jade Feathers, Honkai: Star Rail players can earn Credits and Stellar Jades for completing Pure Fiction stages that reset every three weeks.
The latest Honkai: Star Rail leak from HomDGCat has revealed some changes to version 2.3 of the Pure Fiction mode. As per the leak, all damage taken by enemies will be redistributed to the enemy with the highest HP, and the main blessing will gain one charge when a unit triggers a Weakness Break. When blessing charges hit the cap, they will deal a fixed amount of damage to enemies.

Many players on Reddit indicated that these changes are great for Honkai: Star Rail's Firefly, whose skill set applies a Fire Weakness and increases her Weakness Break efficiency by 50%. They claimed Himeko would be a popular choice for the Pure Fiction mode thanks to her potent AoE attacks. Some players also said the value of Seele will decrease due to the upcoming changes.
Aside from balance changes for the Pure Fiction mode, Honkai: Star Rail version 2.3 will bring an array of content, including achievements, relics, planar ornaments, and characters. It will introduce players to a brand-new unit, Firefly, who belongs to the Destruction path and deals Fire damage. In the second phase of version 2.3, Jade will be added to Honkai: Star Rail's playable roster. The five-star Quantum character walking the Hunt path will be available to claim on a time-limited banner.
Speaking of version 2.3, Honkai: Star Rail will add a PvP event in the upcoming update, Origami Bird Clash, which works similarly to Candy Crush Saga. This event will allegedly require players to increase birds' fighting power by collecting fruits.
