Following the conclusion of version 2.2, Honkai: Star Rail will bring an array of new content, including a PvP event that works similar to Candy Crush. According to early leaks, this event will require Trailblazers to form vertical and horizontal chains on a grid covered with fruits. It will transform players into origami birds they have previously seen in Penacony. Furthermore, the upcoming event will incorporate PvE elements and give out thousands of Stellar Jades.

A recent Honkai: Star Rail leak from HomDGCat has revealed new events that will be added in 2.3. The Divergent Universe: Human Comedy, the flagship event of the next version, will require players to clear combat stages that feature new blessings and occurrences. It will give away a five-star Light Cone, Refined Aethers, Self-Modeling Resins, and Stellar Jades. The Aptitude Showcase event, on the other hand, will task Trailblazers with building teams with an array of characters and completing trial stages.

Honkai: Star Rail's version 2.3 will reportedly add the Nether Puppet event, in which players will complete the "Grim Film of Finality" mission and kill enemies in the Apocalyptic Shadow mode to claim rewards like Stellar Jades and Xueyi. Moreover, the next update will introduce Stellar Shimmer, a mysterious event that involves exploration and gives away ascension materials.
As with previous versions, Honkai: Star Rail 2.3 will feature the Gift of Odyssey event, which gives players a number of Special Rail Passes. For the unaware, these Special Rail Passes are exclusively used on time-limited banners. If the leak is true, players will use them to unlock Honkai: Star Rail's Firefly and Jade permanently.

One of the upcoming Light Cones, After the Charmony Fall, will reportedly be free to claim in the next update. According to leaks, it will have a passive that increases the equipping character's SPD and Break Effect by a percentage. It should be noted that only Erudition units will be able to use the weapon's passive ability.
