Now, early leaks about the game's next world are beginning to surface.

While HoYoverse has yet to reveal any official details about Penacony, Honkai: Star Rail fans have already been treated to plenty of leaks and teasers about the world. Penacony was the original destination of the Astral Express following its visit to Jarilo-VI, only diverted to the Xianzhou Luofu by the interference of Kafka. Leaks have teased the Honkai: Star Rail world as taking inspiration from early 19th century France and the United States, as well as teasing some of Penacony's enemies. A new image shared by prominent Honkai: Star Rail leaker Stepleaker shows off the first in-game images of an area called "Dreamland Store" from Penacony. The image shows off a large doorway with an eye-shaped keyhole alongside what appear to be older televisions and pillows scattered around the room. The leak also shows off unusual on-screen images in the shape of speech bubbles, with no indication of whether they are an exploration mechanic or simply decorations. Penacony's addition to Honkai: Star Rail is expected to arrive with the Version 2.0 update with no confirmed release window.

The colorful appearance of Penacony's newly revealed area isn't the only leak to tease the release update for Honkai: Star Rail's third world. Recent leaks have suggested Honkai: Star Rail's new characters in Version 2.0 have already been determined as well. Quantum character Hanabi is expected to be joined by Wind character Black Swan as the two featured five-star units while Misha will debut as a four-star Ice character. Leaks have also teased other characters planned for the game, including Star Rail versions of Yae Sakura and Raiden Mei.

With leaks already starting to surface about Penacony, Honkai: Star Rail is gearing up to give fans a wealth of updates about the game's next patch.
