A new leak from Honkai: Star Rail is teasing the in-game animations and gameplay for the new four-star character Guinaifen, expected to be released during Version 1.4. Fans of HoYoverse's newest RPG have already been treated to plenty of new additions to the game's roster since it debuted earlier this year. Each update has included a pair of five-star characters alongside a brand-new four-star unit, adding powerful and popular options like Silver Wolf, Kafka, and Yukong, among others. Now, leaks are giving fans a teaser of Version 1.4's featured four-star character.

While Honkai: Star Rail's Version 1.3 update has yet to officially launch, HoYoverse is already preparing fans for what's to come in the following update. The developer would reveal the two newest five-star characters set to join the game's roster earlier this month with Version 1.4, adding the highly-anticipated Jingliu and Topaz. HoYoverse would also reveal a brand-new four-star character coming to Honkai: Star Rail in Version 1.4, with Xianzhou Luofu street performer Guinaifen as a new Fire unit. The newest leaks for the game are now showing off how Guinaifen will play within Star Rail.

Guinaifen was previously revealed to be a Fire character in the Nihility Path, with the video showcasing her Normal Attack striking enemies with her staff and her Skill tossing a stick of dynamite at enemies. The video also features Guinaifen's Ultimate, calling several of her lion companions to deliver an explosive attack. No information about the effects of Guinaifen's attacks was revealed within the video.

Many of Guinaifen's animations pay homage to her background as a street performer, with Guinaifen juggling and using a miniature gong while idling. Guinaifen's Technique allows her to strike enemies from a distance, getting the jump on unsuspecting foes in the overworld. While HoYoverse has not confirmed when Guinaifen will be released within the update, leaks have suggested she will debut alongside Topaz during Version 1.4's second half.

Guinaifen's addition to Honkai: Star Rail will serve as the newest of several characters added to the Nihility path in the game's post-launch updates. Star Rail has already added two new Nihility five-star units to the game in the previously mentioned Kafka and Silver Wolf. Luka was also released as a four-star Nihility character during Version 1.2, more than doubling Star Rail's roster of Nihility characters since its release. Guinaifen will look to provide plenty of utility to Fire element teams following her release in Version 1.4.
