A new leak from Honkai: Star Rail is teasing the effects of the Skill for recently revealed five-star character Fugue, hinting at a special mechanic. The massively popular sci-fi RPG from HoYoverse has seen plenty of big reveals throughout recent weeks, with highly-anticipated characters and major new expansions to the game teased. Last week saw the developer finally confirming the long-awaited playable release of Sunday, while the Version 2.6 Special Program also teased the potential reveal of Herta's real form. However, Sunday wasn't the only character to be revealed from the upcoming Version 2.7 update.
Just days after Sunday's official reveal, HoYoverse would drop another bombshell on the Honkai: Star Rail community by revealing Fugue for Version 2.7. Fugue will be introduced to the RPG as a new version of popular four-star character Tingyun, with an alternate form for the character being the subject of numerous recent rumors. Fugue is heavily suggested to be the real form of the previously playable Tingyun, shown in-game to be an impostor created by Phantylia the Undying. Now, new leaks are starting to give players an idea about Fugue's kit.

Honkai: Star Rail has finally revealed one of the game's most heavily-rumored characters, with Fugue officially confirmed for release.
Honkai: Star Rail Leak Hints at Fugue Skill
A recent post shared by prominent Honkai: Star Rail leaker Shiroha is teasing the effects for Fugue's Skill in Honkai: Star Rail. According to the leak, Fugue's skill will target an Ally and cause that Ally to attack an enemy, with the attack applying a special debuff to that enemy. The debuff is said to be a "burn" effect that will reduce the struck enemy's DEF, with the effect reportedly not able to stack multiple times on the same enemy. Fugue is expected to release with Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.7 update, currently rumored to launch in December.
Fugue's addition to the game features multiple departures from her previous in-game incarnation as Tingyun, offering an entirely different playstyle. HoYoverse confirmed that Fugue will join Star Rail's roster as a Fire Nihility character, suggesting her new gameplay will focus heavily around applying debuffs to enemies. Leaks have also hinted at several design elements of the new Tingyun variant, suggesting that her Ultimate will cause nine tails to manifest from the character. Fugue was confirmed by HoYoverse to be releasing as a five-star character in Honkai: Star Rail.
