Mydei is one of the newest limited Destruction characters in Honkai: Star Rail and boasts a playstyle that blends offensive power with self-sustainability. Similar to some other characters on the same path, such as Blade, Mydei stands out with his ability to both recover and drain HP for himself in a manner that complements his role as a damage dealer. Solving all the "Murmuring Woods" Grove of Epiphany Golden Scapegoat in Honkai: Star Rail will give players three Golden Remains.
Leveling up Mydei and his traces to their maximum potential will significantly amplify his effectiveness as both a durable and impactful DPS unit. Mydei Materials In Honkai: Star Rail
Mydei requires the same basic enemy and weekly boss drops as Aglaea. However, as a Destruction character in Honkai: Star Rail, his trace materials align with those needed for other Destruction characters, such as Yunli and Firefly.
- Enemy drop: Fear-Stomped Flesh / Courage-Torn Chest / Glory-Aspersed Torso
- Boss drop: Harbinger of Strife
- Trace materials: Borisin Teeth / Lupitoxin Sawteeth / Moon Rage Fang
- Weekly boss drop: Auspice Sliver
Mydei Ascension Materials In Honkai: Star Rail
For his boss drop, players will need to farm the Stagnant Shadow: "Abyss of Fate" in Janusopolis. Notably, this specific Stagnant Shadow is not required for any other characters at the time of Mydei's debut in Honkai: Star Rail.

As a DPS unit, Mydei benefits from improving all his Trace's even though some traces like Skill and Ultimate are more valuable than others like Basic Attack.
