Jade is a 5-Star Quantum Erudition unit and one of the Ten Stonehearts of the IPC in Honkai: Star Rail. Known as Lady Bonajade, she is cold and calculating, not only as a senior member of the Strategic Investment Department, but also on the battlefield. Jade is a great unit that excels in the sub-DPS role for duo-carry compositions but can also function well as a main damage dealer.

While Jade's base kit is already exceptional for high-target count situations, like the Pure Fiction game mode, her power diminishes during single-target and low-target count fights. Fortunately, Jade's Eidolons help mitigate some of her problems, significantly improving her performances in various other end-game content of Honkai: Star Rail. This guide will delve into the impact of Jade's Eidolons in HSR and which ones are worth players' precious Stellar Jades.

Honkai: Star Rail - Should You Pull for Firefly or Jade

With many strong characters up and coming, deciding between Firefly or Jade in Honkai: Star Rail depends on certain factors.

Are Jade's Eidolons Worth it in Honkai: Star Rail?

jade_star_rail

Jade's base kit excels in AoE without needing Eidolons, but she faces limitations when there are fewer targets. This is due to her follow-up attack needing multiple targets to stack up Debt Collector Charges efficiently and consistently, which in turn speeds up the generation of her Pawned Asset stacks. For players who want to use Jade effectively in Memory of Chaos, where fewer targets exist, her E1 and E6 hold tremendous value. Additionally, her E2 and E4 further boost her individual damage potential.

E1 - Altruism? Nevertheless Tradable

Effect

Importance

E1

The follow-up attack DMG from Jade's Talent increases by 32%. After the character with the Debt Collector state uses an attack and hits 2/1 enemy target(s), Jade additionally gains 1/2 point(s) of Charge.

Priority/low

Jade's E1 is one of her most impactful Eidolons as it alleviates some of her main issues. This Eidolon ensures that the Debt Collector's attacks always give her at least three Charges, even when there are fewer than three targets.

Argenti in Honkai: Star Rail is a great AoE DPS at E0, but his Eidolons have proved to add amazing buffs to his performance matrix.

While this is less important in Pure Fiction, E1 provides Jade greater flexibility in team composition, making her competitive in both Memory of Chaos and Apocalyptic Shadow. With E1, Jade can afford to run with more single-target oriented partners without sacrificing too many Debt Collector Charges. Unfortunately, if players are looking to use Jade only in Pure Fiction, E1 loses much of its value, as the follow-up attack DMG increase is not significant enough to warrant going for it alone.

E2 - Morality? Herein Authenticated

Effect

Importance

E2

When there are 15 stacks of Pawned Asset, Jade's CRIT Rate increases by 18%.

High

E2 provides a significant damage boost through an 18% increase to Jade's CRIT Rate, which frees up some of her substats for allocation elsewhere. The stack condition is also easy to achieve with the 15 stacks that her Technique provides. In situations where certain Techniques aren't available, such as Simulated Universe Occurrences, Jade can still accumulate 15 stacks of Pawned Asset relatively quickly. While E2 is not mandatory, it remains very powerful.

E4 - Sincerity? Put Option Only

Effect

Importance

E4

When using Ultimate, the DMG Jade deals ignores 12% of enemy targets' DEF, lasting for 3 turn(s).

Medium

Jade's E4 allows her to ignore 12% of the enemies' DEF for three turns upon using her Ultimate. This effect has a fairly high uptime and is practically permanent in Pure Fiction, given the rapid elimination of enemies. While it slightly trails E2 in overall damage value, it is still a decent pickup, albeit not essential.

E6 - Equity? Pending Sponsorship

Eidolon

Effect

Importance

E6

When there are Debt Collector allies on the field, Jade's Quantum RES PEN increases by 20%, and Jade gains the Debt Collector state.

Priority

Jade's final Eidolon is incredibly powerful, almost equaling the value of the previous five combined. In addition to the 20% Quantum RES PEN, Jade now receives double the Debt Collector Charges from her own Basic ATKs. This synergy with her designated Debt Collector enables them to generate at least nine Charges per turn, even against a single enemy. With Jade's ability to stack more than 8 Charges, E6 allows her to chain follow-up attacks more frequently, thus also gaining Pawned Asset stacks quicker.

Honkai: Star Rail – Argenti Team Composition Guide

Argenti has a unique Ultimate that can be used at 50% and 100% energy in Honkai: Star Rail, so his team comp should make the most out of this feature.

Although getting E6 in Honkai: Star Rail requires a significant investment, for players able to afford it, the power it provides Jade is well worth the cost.
