Dreamflux Reef is an area in Honkai: Star Rail Penacony that's significantly different compared to the other areas of the Planet of Festivities. Despite looking grim and depressing, however, the Dreamflux Reef is actually the true form of the Dreamscape. In all its irony, the Dreamflux Reef is the reality of Penacony.

This place hosts the monument of the three Nameless who passed long ago; Mikhail the Watchmaker, Razalina, and Tiernan. The Watchmaker holds such importance that when he leaves Penacony, the situation there starts to fall apart. Because of this, people started to leave Dreamflux Reef, making situations worse for those who decided to stay. In the end, the City Vagrant of the Dreamflux Reef chooses to do petty crimes to make a living. Fortunately, players can help these residents in the City Vagrant secret quest and even earn the Dreamflux Study Group achievement in the process.

To trigger the City Vagrant secret quest in Honkai: Star Rail, switch to the Dreamflux Reef map, then go to Bygoneville Space Anchor. Head south to the alley (turn left then right) to approach the three City Vagrants, and they'll rob the Trailblazers. From here, players has the following choices:

Enter battle against two Dreamjolt Troupe's Mr. Domescreen and two Dreamjolt's Troupe Fortune Seller.

Proceed with the City Vagrant mission without battle or payment.

Do not choose to pay as the hidden mission will not proceed until you either battle them or ask to join the family. If you pay, your second interaction will cost Credit x3,000; on the third, you'll battle the City Vagrant. After this, the outcome is the same as choosing to battle at the start.

Talk to them again and they'll teach players the Dreamflux Gang secret signal. The correct answers are:

  1. Cross your arms over your chest.
  2. Spread 'em out.
  3. Put your hand on your hips.

It's fine to choose the wrong option here as the City Vagrant will correct the players until they get it right. At the end of this interaction, players will get Adventure Log x3 and Credit x3,000.

Dreamflux Study Group Achievement In Honkai: Star Rail

Teleport to another area then return to the City vagrant. This time, the Dreamflux Gang will tell players about their backgrounds and how things have changed for them. They wish to know what they can do to change their circumstances, and at the end of this interaction, you'll get Credit x10,000.

The choice here doesn't matter as it won't change the outcome.

Move to another map again and come back to the City Vagrant, and this time, you'll finally get the Dreamflux Study Group achievement in Honkai: Star Rail, along with Credit x5,000 and the Streetside Repose sticker for Dreamscape Pass chapter 15. Like other trophies from hidden interactions, the Dreamflux Study Group is worth five Stellar Jades.
