Cyrene is a playable Ice Remembrance character in Honkai: Star Rail. When it comes to her kit, Cyrene's kit revolves around supporting Chrysos Heir or Remembrance characters like her. Cyrene Team Comp In HSR - Honkai: Star Rail
It's sad to see Cyrene get this treatment from HoYoverse. When it comes to her best team, Cyrene is awfully locked behind her E2, and can barely work or compete with any of the established characters. However, there are still some characters that can work with her at E0. Here are the best teams for Cyrene in HSR:
- Cyrene's team for Castorice: Cyrene + Castorice + Hyacine + Evernight
- Cyrene's team for Aglaea: Cyrene + Aglaea + Sunday + Dan Heng PT
- Cyrene's team for Phainon: E2 Cyrene + Phainon + Cerydra + Dan Heng PT
Cyrene + Castorice + Hyacine + Evernight
The synergy between Castorice, Hyacine, and Evernight is already established, and it's one of the best teams in Honkai: Star Rail. Even at E0, Cyrene works perfectly with Castorice because of her Memosprite, which loses and gains HP based on Cyrene's Max HP. That will further help Castorice manage her Ultimate. Additionally, this Cyrene's team is full of Remembrance characters who are also a Chrysos Heir, which will maximize Cyrene's kit and help her get her Ultimate faster as well.
In addition to Cyrene's buffs in her kit, Castorice gets a special buff that elevates her gameplay instead of simply adding DMG. Cyrene allows Castorice to collect more Newbud than she normally gets, then transform it all into Netherwing's DPS. Cyrene can also use that special buff to increase Evernight's DMG and Crit DMG, which will notably improve her DPS and utility. Both Castorice and Evernight special buffs are effective for the entire battle, which leaves room for Cyrene to use her special buff on Hyacine for the rest of the battle.
Cyrene + Aglaea + Sunday + Dan Heng PT
This team takes time to build Cyrene's Ult since she is missing one Chrysos Heir in her party. However, Aglaea and Sunday's synergy is too overpowered; they will barely feel that downtime. On the other hand, once Cyrene uses her Ultimates and buffs both Aglaea and Dan Heng PT, she will take their DMG to the next level. Cyrene's special buff to Aglaea will maximize her SPD stack and allow Aglaea to ignore a large portion of enemies' DEF, which will greatly increase her DPS. Same with Dan Heng PT, as Cyrene's special buff will improve his gameplay. However, after the first time she uses her Ultimates, it's better to stick with buffing Aglaea every time.

The idea behind this Cyrene team is to give Aglaea Dan Heng's Souldragon alongside her Memosprite. After that, Sunday will keep advancing all their actions in addition to the massive Cyrene's buffs to her and her Memosprite. Finally, with every character on the team offering an increase to the team's DPS, Dan Heng PT does a good job shielding them, which gives them much-needed sustainability.
One issue with this HSR team is that, without Huohuo, Aglaea may struggle to get enough Energy before her Memosprite disappears. For that, players either need to make both Aglaea and Sunday very fast, or ensure Aglaea is at E1.
E2 Cyrene + Phainon + Cerydra + Dan Heng PT
Cyrene's buff to Phainon practically makes him an actual boss for the entire battle. Unfortunately, E0 Cyrene is a major DPS loss to Phainon's teams in Honkai: Star Rail. She takes a lifetime to get her Ultimate, and that causes the team to suffer in all endgame content. In another unfortunate situation, that issue is solved by getting Cyrene's second Eidolon, which gives her a head start with her Recollection stacks. Then Cyrene will be able to get her Ult early and put Phainon in his Ultimate form for the entire battle.
Since E2 Cyrene will fully stack Phainon's Ultimate, there's no need to bring characters that advance Phainon's action, like Bronya in Honkai: Star Rail. Add Cerydra, who's incredibly good with Phainon, and can constantly make him use his Meteor attack twice while greatly buffing its DMG. Dan Heng Permansor Terrae is also a strong contender since he links his Souldragon with Phainon, dealing DMG based on Phainon's stats, which will be absurdly buffed inside his final boss state.
Alternatively, players can also use Mydei instead of Phainon, and swap out Dan Heng PT with Hyacine.
