Best Light Cone |

Joining as one of the first playable characters in Honkai: Star Rail' s Penacony map during the version 2.0 update, Misha is a 4-star Ice character that aims to bring more AoE capability alternatives for players who are interested in expanding their DPS options. With that being the case, while some may compare Misha to some 5-star Destruction characters like Jingliu, he still has good potential for damage, especially when built right and equipped with proper light cones.
Honkai: Star Rail – Every Destruction Character, Ranked
Destruction units in Honkai: Star Rail excels in both offense and defense.
In Misha's case, since he is an entirely ATK scaling character with Skill and Ultimate focus, he does have access to plenty of good options. With that being the case, Misha can benefit from many F2P or otherwise light cones of different rarities, as long as they can increase stats like his DMG, ATK, or Crit Values primarily in Honkai: Star Rail. Unfortunately, the newly added Forgotten Hall light cone options like Flames Afar does not really benefit him, due to Misha not having a HP loss mechanic.

Increases the wearer's Basic ATK and Skill DMG by 40%. |

While Misha's primary DPS comes from his Ultimate, in order to increase the DPS output of it, players will require using his Skill as often as possible and stacking up Hits Per Action. With that being the case, Misha can benefit well from increasing his Skill DMG further with Collapsing Sky, even though he won't benefit as much from increasing the Basic ATK. Nevertheless, compared to the other 3-star rarity options, Collapsing Sky will perform the best.

Increases the wearer's ATK by 16%. When the wearer defeats an enemy, the wearer's CRIT Rate increases by 12% for 3 turns. |
||
Considering that Misha has AoE capabilities, hitting adjacent targets via his Skill and potentially all targets via his Ultimate's bounce, if players are in a battle with many enemies, they can trigger the secondary effect quite often and easily. Additionally, since Misha also gains added Crit Rate through his Skill Tree Traces, players can have an even easier time building him, focusing primarily on Crit DMG through the relics with the help of this light cone.

Another similar option to "Under the Blue Sky" is "Nowhere To Run," for players who are interested in increasing Misha's ATK even further while also giving him some survivability through healing upon defeating an enemy. As such, the choice between either one of these two light cones ultimately depends on having higher superimposition and min-maxing certain stats, and players' own preferences. It is also worth mentioning that, while "Under the Blue Sky" is available through the Gacha system, "Nowhere To Run" is obtainable through the Nameless Glory Battle Pass, making it not accessible to entirely free-to-play players.

When the wearer uses Basic ATK, Skill, or Ultimate to attack enemies, the wearer gains one stack of Mischievous. Each stack increases the wearer's ATK by 12%. |
||
"The Moles Welcome You" has the highest potential for the most ATK stat gained, as it can reach up to 36%, even without any superimpositions. For those who have balanced and desired Crit Values, it can be the most ideal 4-star light cone option, as long as players pay attention to using Misha's Basic Attack at least once, even though they are required to focus on Skill or Ultimate primarily.
5-Star Light Cones
As far as 5-star light cone options go, Misha can also benefit from most of them, except for Blade's signature light cone, The Unreachable Side, as it focuses on increasing HP alongside Crit Rate, which is not entirely ideal for him except for increasing his overall survivability. On the other hand, he can make good use of plenty of signature light cones from other 5-star characters, as follows:
- I Shall Be My Own Sword: While its first effect, which increases Crit DMG, generally allows it to be a good option for Misha as a stat stick, in his case, activating the conditional effect may not be as consistent as Misha won't be able to drain ally's HP on his own like Jingliu. However, even then, it can be a solid option.
- Brighter Than the Sun: While Misha should generally focus on using his Skill to gain stacks for his ultimate, using Basic Attacks will boost his Energy Regen along with ATK, while also providing additional Crit Rate. In cases where Misha is paired with Skill Point-heavy supports, it can come in quite handy, since he can also gain Hits Per Action stacks through his Talent when allies use Skill Points instead.
- Something Irreplaceable: Clara's signature light cone has a decent ATK buff without any added conditions, and can further help with Misha's DMG and healing upon certain conditions such as being hit, or defeating an enemy.

Whenever the wearer attacks, their ATK is increased by 16% in this battle. This effect can stack up to 4 times. When the wearer inflicts Weakness Break on enemies, the wearer's DMG increases by 24% for 2 turns. |
||
While all the above-mentioned 5-star light cones can become quite viable on Misha, considering that they are limited or otherwise only obtainable through gacha, they may not be worth equipping on Misha as opposed to the characters they are designed for. In that sense, "On the Fall of an Aeon" becomes a great option for increasing his DMG and ATK, while also being entirely F2P friendly. However, to benefit the most from this light cone, players need to utilize Misha against enemies weak to the Ice element.
