In Honkai: Star Rail combat, it's crucial to have a shielder or healer. Unlike games such as Genshin or ZZZ where players can dodge attacks, HSR's turn-based battle forces the team to take damage, making a sustain unit necessary. However, a healer that only heals can be a waste of space compared to those who have other utilities. For instance, Natasha and Bailu are only viable for early-game players. Later on, these two would be easily replaceable by other Abundance characters in Honkai: Star Rail such as Huohuo, Gallagher, and Lingsha.
Lingsha is a healer who unleashes frequent follow-up attacks (FUA) and applies a debuff that causes enemies to take higher Break DMG. Because of this, the best Lingsha team comp in Honkai: Star Rail is either an FUA or Break team.
Honkai: Star Rail – Firefly Build Guide
Players must farm diligently for Firefly build in Honkai: Star Rail as her best-in-slot items are specifically made for her.
3 Firefly + Ruan Mei + Harmony Trailblazer + Lingsha
Lingsha is clearly designed for Firefly in Honkai: Star Rail. She's the 5-star version of Gallagher, with the exact same Elements and Path. Here's how she compares to the Penacony fake-bloodhound:
|
Lingsha |
Gallagher |
|---|---|
|
Debuff causes the enemy to take +25% more Break DMG. |
Debuff causes the enemy to take +12% more Break DMG. |
|
Follow-up attack prioritizes target with Fire Weakness and Toughness above 0. It synergizes with Firefly's HP reduction mechanic. |
Can reduce Toughness with his Ultimate and Enhanced Basic Attack. |
|
Follow-up attack removes 1 debuff from all allies. |
Skill removes 1 debuff on the target ally (requires E2). |
|
Less SP friendly but gains 10 extra Energy after Basic Attack. |
Can restore SP after using Ultimate, making him more SP friendly. |
All in all, Lingsha is better than Gallagher except when it comes to Skill Points (SP) efficiency. The SP issue can be reduced if Ruan Mei or Trailblazer uses Ruan Mei's or Bronya's signature Light Cone in HSR.
Firefly is a DPS who depends on Break and Super Break DMG to annihilate enemies, which means Ruan Mei and Harmony MC are the core characters in Firefly team in HSR. Ruan Mei helps Firefly break weakness faster thanks to her ability to increase Toughness reduction efficiency, whereas Harmony MC exists to help Firefly and the team triggers Super Break DMG. Without Imaginary Trailblazer, Firefly's Super Break DMG alone isn't sufficient to make her a top-tier DPS.
2 Boothill + Ruan Mei + Bronya + Lingsha
As someone who increases Break DMG, Lingsha works instead of Gallagher for Boothill. However, just like Gallagher, she's only viable if the enemy has Fire weakness. Otherwise, Boothill needs another Toughness breaker. Additionally, since both Bronya and Boothill consume SP endlessly, it's best if both Ruan Mei and Bronya use their best-in-slot weapon.
Unlike Firefly who can destroy enemies in a three-hit AoE, Boothill is a single-target DPS. This is why Bronya is crucial for him, as she allows Boothill to move more and quickly defeat surrounding enemies. Meanwhile, Ruan Mei has the same role as she does for Firefly team, where she increases Toughness reduction efficiency.
1 Feixiao + Topaz + Robin + Lingsha
Feixiao's Ultimate has a similar system to Acheron in Honkai: Star Rail. However, unlike Acheron who gains a stack after an ally applies debuff, Feixiao gets one stack when an ally deals damage. This is why a team of follow-up attackers is crucial in Feixiao team, as follow-up attacks allow a character to deal damage outside their turn. The best option for Feixiao's second DPS is Topaz, but players can also use Moze.
For the support slot, Robin in HSR is the best because she has an extra buff exclusively for follow-up attacks, putting her at an advantage over other buffers. Finally, for the sustainer, the ultimate option is Aventurine, but if players don't have him, then Lingsha is a great alternative. Her frequent follow-up hits are brilliant to build Feixiao's stacks.
