The latest DPS character to be added to Honkai: Star Rail's roster, Argenti, is a Physical Erudition character that brings a fresh style for players to test out, especially if they enjoy characters with significant AoE damage possibilities. While the game has introduced a set of Destruction characters with AoE possibilities to some extent, Argenti is one of the few characters that entirely focuses on this aspect, relying on an Ultimate-based DPS playstyle.
Argenti's kit is straightforward, centered around his Ultimate ability, which is entirely unique, offering two modes. One can be activated with only 90 Energy, and the other, a much stronger mode, requires 180 Energy. Players need to pay attention to his energy management while also optimizing stats such as ATK and Crit to maximize his DPS potential. Fortunately, players have access to a variety of light cones, ranging from different rarities to free-to-play options.

While it may only be a 4-star option, The Seriousness of Breakfast is another great example of how F2P light cones can be well utilized. This light cone remains highly effective, especially since players can easily superimpose it by obtaining it through Echoes of War or Forgotten Hall. Consequently, players can substantially boost Argenti's overall damage unconditionally and further increase his ATK upon defeating enemies as an added bonus.

Nevertheless, this light cone can be suitable for Argenti, particularly if players already have it, especially when the team composition focuses on triggering weakness breaks frequently.
However, if players lack access to this light cone, it is advisable to consider alternatives such as "The Seriousness of Breakfast" or other free-to-play options instead of acquiring this light cone from the shop.

Despite this limitation, the other benefits of the light cone make it a worthwhile consideration for enhancing Argenti's overall damage output.

Its effectiveness is notable due to the increase in Argenti's damage, which is based on his Max Energy. With Argenti having the highest Max Energy of 180, it becomes a particularly favorable light cone for him.
Despite the fact that this light cone only boosts up to 160 Max Energy, the significant increase at 32% even without superimpositions makes it a valuable asset. Players willing to invest in the Battle Pass to superimpose it can even gain more benefits from this light cone, enhancing Argenti's overall damage potential across his entire kit.

While Make the World Clamor is generally a Gacha obtainable option, for players who have been playing since the launch of Honkai: Star Rail it may also present itself as a free-to-play one, since it was one of the rewards obtainable through the web event during the launch of the game. Although half of its effect, and the good advantage it provides by generating energy only happens at the start of the battle, its other effect, enhancing Ultimate Damage, remains active throughout the entire battle, making it the best 4-star light cone to choose for Argenti. As such, if players in particular can superimpose this light cone, it can even be on par with his signature light cone as far as the Ultimate DMG buff goes.

This light cone not only gives him additional Crit Damage but also buffs his Ultimate damage, with the boost being based on the max energy used. Considering Argenti's 180 Energy cap, this amounts to a substantial increase, making it an excellent choice for players who want to invest strongly in Argenti.
