Best Light Cone

Back to All Characters

Hunt characters in Honkai: Star Rail have a lot of Light Cones that increase their Crit value because most of their kits solely focus on dealing DMG. That makes building them easier since all they need is Crit and ATK%, and they’re ready to go. However, some characters, like Archer, have mechanics that can take advantage of some Light Cones more than others. For that, here are the best Light Cones for Archer in HSR.

Base Stats

  • 952 Base HP
  • 476 Base ATK
  • 330 Base DEF

S5 Effect

Increases the wearer's ATK by 32%. If there are 2 or fewer enemies on the field, increases wearer's Crit Rate by 24%.

Archer is a character that scales with ATK% and gets a lot of Crit DMG from his Trace passive. For that, giving him a Light Cone like Only Silence Remains that increase his ATK% and Crit Rate is beneficial to his gameplay. With more ATK%, Archer deals more DMG, while with more Crit Rate, Archer is guaranteed to take advantage of all the Crit DMG he builds up from his kit and his team in HSR.

Base Stats

  • 952 Base HP
  • 476 Base ATK
  • 330 Base DEF

S5 Effect

Increases the wearer's ATK by 20%. When the wearer lands a Crit hit on enemies, gains 1 stack of Good Fortune. This can stack up to 4 time(s). Every stack of Good Fortune increases the wearer's Crit DMG by 12%. Good Fortune will be removed at the end of the wearer's turn.

There are a lot of good swords for Skirk in Genshin Impact; here are some of them.

Final Victor is also a decent 4-star Light Cone for Archer since it grants him ATK% and Crit DMG from its passive effect. He needs a lot of Crit Rate to ensure he quickly builds up the Good Fortune stacks, which will notably increase his Crit DMG, especially on S5. Another Light Cone that needs building up and is good for Archer is Swordplay, which increases DMG if Archer keeps hitting the same enemy; an easy feat for Archer, as he can cast his Skill multiple times in a turn.

6 See You at the End

archer using see you at the end light cone in honkai star rail

Base Stats

  • 952 Base HP
  • 529 Base ATK
  • 330 Base DEF

S1/S5 Effect

Increases the wearer's Crit DMG by 24/40%. The Skill DMG and Follow-up ATK DMG dealt by the wearer increases by 24/40%.

While it’s a 4-star Light cone, See You at the End is not an F2P option for Archer, given it's a BP weapon. Still, See You at the End is one of the best 4-star Light Cones for Archer since it grants him the Crit DMG he needs, in addition to a lot of extra DMG on his Skill, which is the main source of DPS in Archer’s kit.

5 Baptism of Pure Thought

archer using baptism of pure thought light cone in honkai star rail

Base Stats

  • 952 Base HP
  • 582 Base ATK
  • 529 Base DEF

Effect

Increases the wearer's Crit DMG by 20%. For every debuff on the enemy target, the wearer's Crit DMG dealt against this target additionally increases by 8%, stacking up to 3 times. When using Ultimate to attack the enemy target, the wearer receives the Disputation effect, which increases DMG dealt by 36% and enables their follow-up attacks to ignore 24% of the target's DEF. This effect lasts for 2 turns.

Getting into the 5-star options, Archer can use the Baptism of Pure Thought effectively if he has a Nihility unit in the team, like Silver Wolf. Ensuring Archer’s target is debuffed enough to maximize the Light Cone’s requirement will allow Archer to deal more DMG, especially with his Follow-up attacks. It’s not an ideal Light Cone for Archer, but the Crit DMG buffs make it an acceptable choice.

4 Worrisome, Blissful

archer using worrisome blissful light cone in honkai star rail

Base Stats

  • 952 Base HP
  • 476 Base ATK
  • 330 Base DEF

Effect

Increase the wearer's Crit Rate by 18% and increases DMG dealt by follow-up attack by 30%. After the wearer uses a follow-up attack, inflicts the target with the Tame state, stacking up to 2 time(s). When allies hit enemy targets under the Tame state, each Tame stack increases the Crit DMG dealt by 12%.

Worrisome, Blissful starts by granting Archer an 18% Crit Rate, which solves his Crit Rate need and allows players to stack as much Crit DMG as possible on him. Additionally, Archer’s gameplay revolves around using Follow-up attacks to generate Skill Points and deal DMG. That’s perfect for Worrisome, Blissful, as it can increase his Follow-up attacks DMG and debuff enemies to further increase his Crit DMG against them.

3 Cruising in the Stellar Sea

  • 952 Base HP
  • 529 Base ATK
  • 463 Base DEF

S5 Effect

Skirk is a Cryo-Sword character in Genshin Impact who works around Normal Attack and large Burst DMG.

Cruising in the Stellar Sea is an F2P Light Cones for Archer in Honkai: Star Rail. It gives him a decent Base stats alongside Crit Rate and the ability to significantly increase Archer’s ATK% when he defeats an enemy. All this puts Cruising in the Stellar Sea among the best Light Cones for Archer in HSR, even if it’s an F2P option.

2 In the Night

archer using in the night light cone in honkai star rail

Base Stats

  • 1058 Base HP
  • 582 Base ATK
  • 463 Base DEF

Effect

Increases the wearer's Crit Rate by 18%. While the wearer is in battle, for every 10 SPD that exceeds 100, increases DMG dealt by Basic ATK and Skill by 6%. At the same time, increases the Crit DMG of Ultimate by 12%. This effect can stack up to 6 time(s).

As a Hunt unit, Archer depends on SPD to get their action more frequently, especially if he has the Firmament Frontline: Glamoth set. This Planar Ornaments set increases Archer’s ATK% and DMG if he reaches 160 SPD. Players can pair it with the In the Night Light Cone to further increase Archer’s DMG based on his SPD. All that makes In the Night one of the best 5-star Light Cones for Archer in HSR.

1 The Hell Where Ideals Burn

archer using the hell where ideals burn light cone in honkai star rail

Base Stats

  • 953 Base HP
  • 582 Base ATK
  • 529 Base DEF

Effect

Increases the wearer's Crit Rate by 16%. When entering combat, if the allies' Skill Points limit is 6 or higher, increases the wearer's ATK by 40%. After each use of the wearer's Skill, increases the wearer's ATK by 10%, stacking up to 4 time(s).

The Hell Where Ideals Burn is Archer’s Signature Light Cone in HSR. It’s his best-in-slot because it gives him exactly what his top-tier Light Cones give, but much better.

The Hell Where Ideals Burn grants Archer a 16% Crit Rate, comparable to other 5-star Light Cones. However, when it comes to the ATK% buff, The Hell Where Ideals Burn increases Archer’s ATK% by a whopping 80%. The first 40% is because he increases the team’s maximum Skill Points limit, and another 40% Archer gets slowly as he keeps casting his Skill. If players want Archer to operate at his best during combat, then they should go for Archer’s best Light Cone in Honkai: Star Rail, The Hell Where Ideals Burn.
