An esteemed member of the Genius Society, The Herta is known as one of the creators of the Simulated Universe, the popular Honkai: Star Rail roguelike mode that players unlock by completing the Trailblaze Simulated Universe: First Closed Beta Mission. Mysterious and intelligent, she is also the brilliant mind behind Herta Space Station, the first world accessible upon starting the game.

Honkai: Star Rail is teaming up with a popular musical artist to perform the theme for the game's fourth playable world of Amphoreus.
Twitter user XaiabP shared a video showing her cosplay as The Herta at Comic Market 105 in Tokyo Big Sight, Japan. With an impressive level of resemblance, the cosplayer wears an outfit with the same design as the one worn by the upcoming Honkai: Star Rail character. The outfit has the same black details reminiscent of a corset, and a design on the chest similar to a lock. She wears a witch-like pointed hat and the same hairstyle. In a curious detail, she appears alongside other cosplayers dressed as Herta.
Honkai: Star Rail Finally Introduces The Herta To Players
Although they are two different units, Herta and The Herta have a direct link to each other. The Herta is the next character in HoYoverse's RPG, which will add a 5-star Ice/Erudition that, as the name implies, is the character's true form. Possessing great intellect and an understanding of the cosmos, The Herta often appears as a puppet, Herta, who was introduced in Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.0. She is a 4-star character of the same type and path and was modeled after Herta's image when she was younger. Players can recruit her in different ways, such as completing the Simulated Universe Worlds 2, 4, 6, 7, and 9 on difficulty I for the first time.
The Herta will be on the next Honkai: Star Rail banner. The character will debut in the game with the release of Version 3.0, with her banner being available from January 15 until February 5. During this period, The Herta will be the featured 5-star, while the standard 5-star drops will be Bailu, Bronya, Clara, Gepard, Himeko, Welt, and Yanqing. Her banner will also include Moze, Asta, and Natasha as four-star characters. Additionally, players will have a chance to pull her Light Cone, Into the Unreachable Veil, via the Bright Fixation banner.
