In Honkai: Star Rail's 2.0 version update, players are introduced to a new world: Penacony. Here, they can continue the Trailblazer story, meet new characters, explore unique areas, and more. Alongside a vast array of new chests, puzzle types, and collectibles such as stickers or books, a new hidden collectible, Origami Birds, makes its appearance. This means that players need to keep their eyes open to find these interactive birds while exploring for chests and puzzles in each area of Penacony.
Honkai: Star Rail – Dream's Edge Origami Bird Locations
Dream's Edge may be a large area, but merely 10 Origami Birds can be located inside the Honkai: Star Rail maze.
There are a total of 60 Origami birds scattered throughout Penacony, with a significant number of 20 located in Golden Hour. Collecting all the birds comes with its own set of rewards, so it's recommended that players ensure they don't miss out on these opportunities to obtain rewards like new light cones, Stellar Jade, and more in Honkai: Star Rail.
All Origami Birds at Golden Hour in Honkai: Star Rail
Luckily, while the number of birds in this area is quite extensive, considering that the Golden Hour map is quite straightforward without the 3D spaces some other areas like the Reverie Dreamscape have, they are relatively easy to navigate to. However, players will still need to pay attention to things like Hanu's Adventure to collect some of them. In this case, it is recommended that players first complete the Trailblazer storyline in Golden Hour before starting to collect the birds in this area to ensure they have unlocked each part of the map. While players will not be able to track the exact number of Origami Birds they have collected on the map as easily as counting chests, warp trotters, or lordly trashcans, they can check their progress by going to the Great Tree on the map to count the birds found. Honkai: Star Rail – A Child's Dream Origami Bird Locations
There are 10 Origami Birds that Honkai: Star Rail players can retrieve in A Child's Dream area in Penacony.
Aideen Tokens are quite useful for certain exploration aspects such as locating Origami Birds or Clockwork Quests. Players can obtain them from an NPC called Dancy in Aideen Park. This NPC is easily noticeable as he will be puking rainbows before players interact with him for the first time. Dancy sells 10 Aideen Tokens per weekly reset, and the Great Tree Bird will mark the missing birds on the map if players interact with it and ask for a hint.
All Origami Birds Locations at F1
There are a total of 6 birds on this floor, with 2 of them obtainable during the Trailblazer story.
- During the Trailblazer mission, on the Clockie's Statue. Players will need to interact with it. Firefly will bring the Trailblazers to this statue during the "Tales from the Golden Age" part of the quest. Origami Bird Name: Young Master Gold
- During the "Good Omen, My Friend" quest, inside the shelf in the top-right corner of the area, players will first need to pop the balloon while in normal form, then pass through the small path to find the bird. This step is also necessary to find all the chests in this area and to progress the mission. Origami Bird Name: Resilient Bird
- At the Dreammerse Shopping Street, near the above mentioned Hanu's Adventure area, on the right side of the middle round part on top of a Red Balloon. Origami Bird Name: Soaring Bird
- Head south and past the stairs from the Dreammerse Shopping Street teleport point, and find the bird on the displayed object. Origami Bird Name: Cold-Fearing Bird
- This time, go west from the above teleport point, and find the poster with Clockie and pizza on it. The bird is located on the nose of Clockie. Origami Bird Name: Groupie Bird
- The last origami bird in this area is near the Clockie Plaza teleport point. Players will need to take the stairs on the left side (map orientation.) The bird is on the handrail of the stairs. Origami Bird Name: Fast Bird
All Origami Birds Locations at F2
Most of the Origami Birds in Golden Hour are located in this floor with a whopping 13 of them.
- Go to the other Hanu's Adventure in Golden Hour on bottom left side of the map, and go inside after transforming to Hanu. Then, pop the Red Balloon by transforming back to the normal form, transform back to Hanu, pass through the path and use the rocket to teleport to the plank above. The bird will be at the end of the plank. Origami Bird Name: Unlucky Bird
- Teleport The Reverie Hotel Entrance head west (Or head east from the Hanu's Adventure minigame). Origami Bird is hiding in the SoulGlad machine beside two NPCs. Open its valve to interact with the bird. Origami Bird Name: Curious Bird
- Teleport to The Reverie Hotel Entrance teleport point again, head northeast this time to find the bird on a fire hydrant. Players will need to yank the bird a couple of times until they can collect it. Origami Bird Name: Naughty Bird
- Heading further north from this point, passing both stairs on the right and then left, players will find the next one inside a trashcan. Origami Bird Name: Treasure Bird
- Go slightly backward and head to the other side (west) of the large middle area by using the stairs in the middle, and find the bird on the door of the hotel ahead. Origami Bird Name: Classy Bird
- Teleport to Oti Mall space anchor and then find the Ice Cream vendor slightly south of it. The bird is hiding in the trolley. Origami Bird Name: Fan-Spoiling Bird
- This time, head north all the way past the corridors from the Oti Mall teleport location and turn right to find the bird hiding in the tree at the middle of this dead-end area. Origami Bird Name: Cowardly Bird
- From the previous bird's location head towards west past the stairs to reach the rectangular platform. The bird is hiding in the poster with a fish dish in on the wall. Origami Bird Name: Fish-Loving Bird
- Head back to the Oti Mall space anchor and go towards west from the upper staircases. The bird is hiding at the golden fountain in the middle. Origami Bird Name: Cool Bird
- Teleport to Sweet Corner space anchor and head slightly towards south-east. The bird is hiding in the bench nearby. Origami Bird Name: Prudent Bird
- This time, from the above teleport point, go towards the west and head towards the sitting area, located directly south of the Great Tree. Players will be finding the bird at the chairs here. Yank it a couple of times from each seat and it will finally be obtainable. Origami Bird Name: Mischievous Bird
- Teleport to the Aideen Park teleport point and then go east. There will be a telephone booth / clock-like object right ahead when players pass the stairs, north of the nearby vendor. The bird is hiding on the top section of this object. Origami Bird Name: Careless Bird
- The last Origami bird in this floor is also located near Aideen Park teleport point, this time right on top of the manhole beside Dancy, the vendor who had been previously mentioned for selling Aideen Tokens. Origami Bird Name: Foodie Bird
All Origami Birds Locations at F3
There is only one Origami Bird remaining in Golden Hour, and it happens to be the single bird located on F3. To reach this floor, players will need to go to the north of the Reverie Hotel Entrance teleport point and interact with the Bubble Pinball Machine there. Once on F3, the bird is located slightly south, on a telescope near two little NPCs. With that, players will have obtained all 20 birds in Golden Hour.

Rewards For Collecting All Origami Birds in Golden Hour in Honkai: Star Rail
Except for unlocking rewards for collecting at least 10 birds all around in Penacony for the limited event, Dreamchaser Bulletin, players will also gain extra rewards for collecting 10 and 20 Origami birds in Golden Hour, aside from each small gift the birds will give upon finding them. Once players find the aforementioned number of birds, they should make their way to the Great Tree location in Golden Hour (marked with a large bird icon) to obtain 30 Stellar Jade and 180 Clock Credits for finding 10 of them, as well as the new 4-star Erudition light cone, The Day The Cosmos Fell for finding all 20 of them in Golden Hour.
Additionally, the birds in this area also contribute to the "Chirp! Chirp!" Achievement for finding all 60 Origami Birds for an additional 5 Stellar Jades, while tracking this achievement is also a good way to keep an eye on how many birds players still might be missing.
