HoYoverse reveals a new combat event for Honkai: Star Rail, allowing players to earn a bounty of Stellar Jades and other useful materials for free in the remaining duration of version 1.1. Honkai: Star Rail is expected to receive more new events in version 1.2, and players may prepare for the arrival of new characters by participating in the combat event.
Honkai: Star Rail quickly became a worldwide success with over 20 million players in just a few days after launch this April. Following a very successful launch week, HoYoverse reiterated its plans for regular updates, new events, and the continuation of the Honkai: Star Rail main story. Honkai: Star Rail version 1.1 launched on June 7, introducing players to the genius hacker known as Silver Wolf, one of the game's first post-launch characters. Version 1.1's first phase ends on June 28, and the second phase will introduce another Event Warp featuring all-new characters like Luocha and Yukong. Another in-game event will be live soon with free Stellar Jades, which are necessary for summoning characters from Event Warps.
HoYoverse published a new HoYoLab blog post detailing the new Stellar Flare combat event launching on June 28 in Honkai: Star Rail. This new Honkai: Star Rail event lets players earn free Stellar Jades, Tracks of Destiny, and other useful materials by completing daily stages filled with enemy encounters. A total of eight stages with three difficulty levels will be available, and "Dwarf Star" and "Giant Star" difficulty levels may be chosen at the start of the event. The third "Supergiant Star" difficulty may be unlocked after completing a stage on Giant Star difficulty. Enemy strength and game modes will be determined by the difficulty level selected for the stage, and the Supergiant Star difficulty nets the most rewards according to HoYoverse.
In order to participate in Stellar Flare, Honkai: Star Rail players must be Trailblaze Level 21 or higher. Rewards may be obtained from the event page after successfully completing a stage. These rewards must be redeemed before July 10, so players have roughly two weeks to participate in stages and collect free Stellar Jades. Stellar Jades may be used to draw directly from an Event Warp, but players may also convert Stellar Jades into Star Rail Special Passes.
The Stellar Flare event should be a boon for Honkai: Star Rail players running low on Stellar Jades. This is another opportunity for players to amass enough Stellar Jades for draws from Luocha's new Event Warp. Although only 160 Stellar Jades are needed for a single draw, players are recommended to use 1,600 Stellar Jades for a tenfold draw, which guarantees at least one 4-star item or character.
The Honkai: Star Rail 1.2 update is expected to arrive in mid-July with more main story quests and new characters. Leaks suggest HoYoverse is already developing content for the 1.3 update launching in August, meaning fans can expect updates every month or so like Genshin Impact.
Honkai: Star Rail is available now for Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation 5 version launches in Q4 2023.
