Honkai: Star Rail has officially unveiled Hysilens as the first new character coming to the playable roster in Version 3.5. Honkai: Star Rail is getting ready to launch its 3.4 update, which is expected to add a ton of content for players to enjoy.
After the 3.3 Trailblaze Mission left the story with a major cliffhanger, fans are excited to see what Honkai: Star Rail has next in store for them. HoYoverse has already set a date for Honkai: Star Rail's Version 3.4 special livestream to delve deeper into three new characters debuting in the patch: Phainon, Saber, and Archer. The former is arguably the most anticipated Chrysos Heir to become playable, though he won't be the last, as the developers have confirmed.
Honkai: Star Rail Leak Reveals New Path Form for Popular Character
A Honkai: Star Rail leak reveals details about three new playable units, including a different path form for a very popular 4-star character.
Through a post on its social media, Honkai: Star Rail has confirmed Hysilens' playable debut for Version 3.5. As seen in her drip marketing, she will be a 5-Star Physical unit of the Nihility Path. Hysilens has long, dark hair and wears a purple-palette dress. She also has a conch-like hair accessory that ties in with her ocean-themed surroundings. Hysilens is the Chrysos Heir bearing the Ocean's Coreflame and presents herself as the Knight Commander of Okhema. While HoYoverse hasn't given details about her kit, Nihility characters in Honkai: Star Rail focus on debuffing enemies, and some can also deal massive damage. Hysilens is the second Physical Nihility character since the 4-Star Luka.
Who is Honkai: Star Rail's Hysilens?
Hysilens has been mentioned in-game by Aglaea, Cipher, Tribbie, and Castorice. She also made some cameos in two official Honkai: Star Rail promotional trailers. Per her lore, her real name is Helektra and is the demigod of the Ocean, meaning she passed the trial of the titan Phagousa and claimed their Coreflame. Hysilens is best known for her connections to Honkai: Star Rail's Cerydra. Years before the Trailblazers arrived at Amphoreus, Hysilens supported Cerydra in a battle against forces that tried to take down Okhema. After winning, Cerydra became the ruler, ended the Chrysos War and set the Flame-Chase Journey in motion. However, at one point, Hysilens passed away prior to the events of the game, while Cerydra lost a battle that changed her personality, which caused her to disappear from the public eye. It is also said that Hysilens is very proficient in music.
Honkai: Star Rail is no stranger to bringing characters back from the dead. Players might remember how Tingyun seemingly died early in the game and later returned as Fugue. It will be interesting to see how the developers address Hysilens' debut. On the other hand, Honkai: Star Rail recently released Cipher, another Nihility unit that has become a top-tier support for follow-up attack teams.
