Honkai: Star Rail shocked fans around the world last year when HoYoverse announced the sci-fi RPG's first-ever in-game collaboration. The developer shared that Honkai: Star Rail will be crossing over with Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works in 2025, teasing a Q3 release for the collab. HoYoverse has so far been light on details about what will be included as part of the crossover event, with leaks hinting at new playable characters from the Fate universe. Honkai: Star Rail is now pulling back the curtain on the long-awaited event, featuring two playable characters.
Honkai: Star Rail Is Upgrading Its Returning Player Rewards
Honkai: Star Rail's Version 3.2 is introducing some helpful new upgrades to the game's "Starlit Homecoming" returning player rewards.
HoYoverse officially unveiled the "Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail" special event during the conclusion of a recent Honkai: Star Rail concert. The collaboration will feature both Fate/Stay Night's Saber and Archer as playable characters available during the event, with Archer also being available as a free login reward. The official reveal post also shares the Elements and Paths for both of Honkai: Star Rail's collab characters, with Saber debuting as a Wind Destruction unit while Archer will be a Quantum Hunt character. Honkai: Star Rail's collaboration with Fate/Stay Night is officially scheduled to launch on July 11.

Alongside the two new playable characters, Honkai: Star Rail will host an exclusive in-game event surrounding the Fate characters during the collaboration. Players will return to Penacony for the event, which will see the Trailblazer taking part in the "Penaconian Holy Grail War." The event's blurb also teases several elements of the Fate franchise being implemented as part of the event, including Heroic Spirits, Command Seals, and Noble Phantasms among others.
Honkai: Star Rail kicked off its anniversary festivities with a bang with lots of exciting new content for fans of the RPG. HoYoverse has brought a plethora of rewards throughout the Version 3.2 update, including 20 Star Rail Special Passes and 1,600 Stellar Jades just for logging into the game. The update also features several limited-time events as part of the celebration, including Star Rail WORLD as the main anniversary mini-game. With plenty more characters and the long-awaited Fate/Stay Night collaboration on the way, Honkai: Star Rail fans should have tons in store throughout the coming months.
