Honkai: Star Rail has revealed a major change set to come to the Divergent Universe game mode in Version 2.7, giving players the opportunity to earn more rewards. The massively popular sci-fi RPG from HoYoverse has offered fans plenty to do after finishing the game's story, introducing a plethora of new game modes. The RPG boasts multiple roguelike game modes with the Simulated Universe and its expansions, alongside more traditional combat challenges like Memory of Chaos and Pure Fiction. One of the most popular game modes is now set to see a significant change soon.
First introduced in Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.3 update, the Divergent Universe offers a new type of gameplay building off the basis set by the SImulated Universe. Divergent Universe adds a brand-new type of buff called "Equations," requiring players to collect a plethora of Blessings to gain access to unique power-ups. The game mode also brought a plethora of rewards for increasing the Divergent Universe's "Synchronicity Level," offering everything from Stellar Jades and Self-Modeling Resin to EXP materials. Now, players will soon get the chance to earn even more rewards for clearing Divergent Universe.

Honkai: Star Rail's new reset to the Divergent Universe should look to make plenty of exciting rewards available once again for players. The lower levels of the Divergent Universe feature plenty of notable rewards, including Relic Remains for crafting custom Relics and Stellar Jades for Star Rail's gacha. Players can also pick up Tears of Dreams to be used when leveling characters' Traces, substituting for other materials to enhance characters.
The Divergent Universe's new changes come as part of one of the most highly-anticipated updates to come to Honkai: Star Rail. HoYoverse is set to debut two of the game's most notable characters, with the long-awaited Sunday joining the roster alongside five-star Tingyun variant Fugue. The update is also expected to be the final patch before Honkai: Star Rail launches its fourth playable world, with Amphoreus already seeing numerous teasers throughout recent weeks.
