Honkai: Star Rail's new update 1.3 finally arrived which means that it's time for a new set of limited characters to get their chance on the game's Event Banner. The first part of the update features the five-star character Imbibitor Lunae which is a special dragon form of the previously introduced character Dan Heng. A chart of the popular website named HonkaiLab reveals Imbibitor Lunae's first-day sales numbers. According to the chart, the Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae banner managed to generate over $9 million in sales in just one day. It should also be noted that the chart only represents data taken from iOS devices on the game's Chinese server meaning that the overall sales are even higher.

The game introduced Imbibitor Lunae as the High Elder of the Luofu who bears the Azure Dragon's legacy. According to Star Rail's official storyline, he is also known as the guardian of the Ambrosial Arbor, an ancient artifact planted on the Xianzhou Luofu which is one of the six flagships owned by the Hexafleet. After being exiled from the Xiangzhou Alliance, Dan Heng had to hide his true identity.

Even though they are the same person, Imbibitor Lunae is a different person from Dan Heng which means that players are allowed to use both of them on the field. He follows the path of Destruction which means that Imbibitor Lunae has great DPS potential with decent survivability. His power is closely related to the Attack stat which means that players should try to surround him with Harmony supports.

He has also decent synergy with characters that follow the paths of Nihility, Abundance, and Preservation. The Epochal Spectrum Event Banner also includes a decent four-star lineup which includes the Fire Harmony user Asta, the starter support March 7th, and the Imaginary Harmony character Yukong.

Honkai: Star Rail is available now for PC and mobile devices. PS4 and PS5 versions are in development.
