A new Honkai: Star Rail leak has revealed more details about which characters will appear on the upcoming banners during update 2.5. Honkai: Star Rail version 2.4 is slowly coming to an end, which means it's time for another set of characters to be featured on the game's limited banners.
Developer HoYoverse has previously confirmed that update 2.5 will add two new five-star characters, Feixiao and Lingsha, and a four-star unit named Moze. The release of the two five-star characters will likely be spread over the two banner cycles, with rumors claiming that re-run characters will join them.

A new Honkai: Star Rail leak reveals that a popular four-star character, Tingyun, will receive a new form in the upcoming updates.
Similar to most gacha games, Honkai: Star Rail updates are divided into two banner cycles, each of which features characters and Light Cones for a limited period, approximately three weeks. The ongoing limited banner allows players to acquire the new Honkai: Star Rail character Yunli. The banner also includes a re-run character, the popular Abundance support HuoHuo. A new post on the Honkai: Star Rail Leaks subreddit has listed all the five-star and four-star characters featured on the limited banners in the upcoming version 2.5.

The leak has clarified that players will be able to choose between the three re-run characters in the first banner phase. Fans seem to be mostly excited about Feixiao, a powerful Honkai: Star Rail character who has already made multiple in-game appearances. She is known as one of the Seven Arbiter-Generals.
Previous Honkai: Star Rail leaks have suggested that Feixiao's kit will revolve around dealing single-target damage. This does not come as a surprise, considering that she follows the Path of Destruction, which is usually reserved for powerful DPS units who excel at shredding down HP one target at a time.
As a new five-star Abundance character, Lingsha is expected to be a powerful healer and support unit. According to previous leaks, she will be able to deal AoE damage and provide healing at the same time, scaling with her ATK stat. Based on HoYoverse's usual schedule of releasing new updates, players can expect Honkai: Star Rail version 2.5 to arrive around September 9.
