As seen on the website, Hollow Knight: Silksong was part of a group of games noted to be released after June 6 for the Switch 2. Based on the translated text, this suggests that the Team Cherry-developed game might not arrive before the new console and will not be a launch-day title.

While this means the release date might still be towards the end of 2025, another Reddit post from TomNook5085 pointed out the previous announcement of a Hollow Knight: Silksong museum exhibit starting on September 18. Taking place at ACMI, this exhibit will feature a playable version of the game and displays about the game’s art and development. TomNook5085 believed the game would likely come out before this, potentially narrowing the release window further.

Understandably, this latest potential clue from the Nintendo Japan website has sparked more excitement from the Silksong community, which has been waiting years to play the sequel to the original 2017 game. However, fans should temper their expectations until an official announcement from Team Cherry, as things can change during development.
