As Hornet makes her way into new areas and discovers new abilities in Hollow Knight: Silksong, she can always return to old areas to find new stuff to do. The Terrible Tyrant Quest In Silksong
After acquiring the wall jump (Cling Grip) skill in Silksong, you can go back to Bone Bottom’s Wishwall to find the Terrible Tyrant Quest on it. Take it, and a Skull Tyrant will appear in the Marrow region.
It’s a strong boss fight where the Skull Tyrant will not stop attacking and summoning earthquakes. The best way to beat it is by dodging its attacks and waiting for windows to deal damage. Defeat it, then return to the Bone Bottom Wishwall to turn in its Crown Fragment for rewards.
Some time after defeating the Skull Tyrant, it will reappear when resting on the Bone Bottom bench, and another boss fight will start against it.
Skull Tyrant Location In Silksong
You can find the Skull Tyrant in the empty area on the eastern side of the Marrow region in Silksong. It’s a lava lake that wasn’t accessible when Hornet first visited the area.
You must enter from the right side if you've never done so before. Entering from the right will enable the bridge that allows Hornet to cross the lava.
Look up for a passage on the right side. You need to have the wall jump skill to be able to enter the hidden area above the lava lake.
Once Hornet is in the hidden area, progress to the left. There are a couple of enemies; defeat them, jump through the obstacles, and keep going left.
Use the wall jump ability again to go up after reaching the wall. Then, keep going up using the Cling Grip skill.
Once you reach the top, break the wall on the right side and progress through it. There’s a Skull Brute there; defeat it and keep going right.
Go through the hole to progress to the next area. Once out of the hole, keep going left until you reach a small Skull Scuttler.
Change direction and jump to the right, and keep going right until you find the Skull Tyrant in Silksong.
