While getting on your broom involves pressing a couple of different buttons, once you know how it works, you'll be swooping above Hogwarts Castle and beyond its grounds in no time.

How To Summon And Get On Your Broom In Hogwarts Legacy

Once you've got a broom in Hogwarts Legacy, you can summon and fly it. To get on your broom, there are a couple of steps to follow, with different buttons to press depending on whether you're playing Hogwarts Legacy on Xbox, PlayStation, or PC platforms.

Summoning Broom On Xbox

To summon a broom using an Xbox controller, press the LB button to bring up the tool wheel, which appears as a small window in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Here, you can see all the available Hogwarts Legacy mounts you can switch to if you've unlocked them, such as Hippogriffs and your broom. To get on your broom, tap the B button, resulting in a short action of you hopping onto your broom. You can now fly around on your broom freely with it equipped.

Summoning Broom On PlayStation

The steps to summon a broom on the PS4 or PS5 are the same as above, but you'll need to press different buttons to to equip it. Press the L1 button to open the tool wheel, followed by the Circle button to select and mount it.

Summoning Broom On PC

Likewise, getting on a broom follows similar steps when playing Hogwarts Legacy on PC. Instead, press the Tab button followed by 3 (or whatever key you have assigned) to select and summon it.

Once you've finished zooming about on your broom, press the B button on Xbox to dismount it once you're close to the ground (or Circle or B if playing on PlayStation or PC, respectively).
