The eternal colors of Super Earth can be brought into battle in Helldivers 2, where they may be bloodied in warfare and quenched with the blood of Terminids, Automatons, and Illuminate alike. The One True Flag allows players to wield a literal flag of Super-Earth into battle, for patriotism, democracy, and plenty of stabbing action.
If you want to represent Super Earth, or you just want a pointy stick to stab at things, then you might want to check out the One True Flag. Below, we'll detail how you can get the One True Flag and what it is you can actually do with it to determine if it's worth it or not.
Helldivers 2: Best Way to Farm Super Credits Fast
Discover how to maximize your Super Credits farm strategy in Helldivers 2 with the best biomes, loadout, and difficulty for efficiency.
The One True Flag isn't counting for melee kills since Update 6.0.1, but it's unknown if this is intentional or a bug.
How to Get the One True Flag in Helldivers 2
The One True Flag is a Strategem exclusive to the Masters of Ceremony Warbond, which costs 1,000 Super Credits. The One True Flag can be purchased on Page 3 for 110 Medals, and after, you can acquire it in the Masters of Ceremony section of the Ship Management's Strategems.
The One True Flag can be called into battle with the Stratgem Code: Down, Left, Right, Right, Up. It will take 11.65 seconds for the One True Flag to be called in, with a 480-second cooldown until you can get another one. Thankfully, it has unlimited uses.
How to use the One True Flag in Helldivers 2
The One True Flag is a Melee Stratagem Weapon with Medium Armor Penetrating. This means that you can wield the One True Flag into battle as a melee weapon, where hitting R2/RT/Left-Click will allow you to thrust the One True Flag forward like a spear, poking and stabbing at enemies with a decent reach and stagger.
The One True Flag also has unique features. If you use the Reload button, you can wave the One True Flag in the air. If you hold X on the Keyboard or Down on the D-Pad, you can drop the One True Flag to plant it into the ground, which can also be planted into enemies, alive or dead.
Is the One True Flag Worth It?
The One True Flag is not a meta weapon and should not be considered viable against any of the enemy factions. However, if your objective is to just have fun, then the One True Flag can provide you with just that. The One True Flag is designed to embrace the silliness and patriotism of Helldivers, and it's not intended to be a planet-conquering weapon.
