The previously mentioned God of War comes in second, Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition comes in third, and The Last of Us Part 1 is fourth. The popularity of the first Helldivers and the promising gameplay of Helldivers 2 has caused the game to outperform the other anticipated Steam releases by a wide margin. However, Helldivers 2 users have experienced frustrating bugs following its launch, including matchmaking, login, and crashing issues. Arrowhead recently released a Helldivers 2 patch for PC players that improved matchmaking for some users, but many fans are still reporting problems. While these factors likely played in the favor of Helldivers 2, its achievement is still clearly nothing to be sneezed at.
A recent leak claimed to reveal Sony's next PlayStation games to be ported to PC. The list included The Last of Us Part 2, God of War Ragnarok, Demon's Souls, Gran Turismo 7, and Ghost of Tsushima. The impressive lineup is likely an exciting possibility for PC fans, but they should probably try to keep their excitement in check for now, seeing that the list is still unconfirmed.
