The B-14 Adjudicator is the first fully-automatic Marksman Rifle in Helldivers 2. While each shot from this weapon doesn't hit quite as hard as the Diligence and its Counter Sniper variant, the Adjudicator makes up for it by being more adaptable, being capable of taking down both heavy infantry and swarms of smaller enemies with relative ease.

Helldivers 2 Players Are Loving the New Defense Mission Type

Helldivers 2 players are currently enjoying the game's new defense mission type, which they think is more layered than others.

While not as eye-catching as the explosive sidearm from the new premium Helldivers 2 Warbond, the Adjudicator already stands out among its peers as the only conventional gun in its catalog. However, given the current state of fully-automatic weapons in the game, this rifle may or may not be up to the taste of the many Helldivers working hard to liberate the galaxy.

Is The Adjudicator Worth Buying?

Helldivers 2 Adjudicator stats
  • Damage: 80
  • Capacity: 25
  • Fire Rate: 550
  • Recoil: 50

On paper, there's very little to complain about. The Adjudicator shoots at a steady rate of fire, boasting the highest damage per bullet out of any fully-automatic rifle in the game so far. As of writing, the LIberator Penetrator is its only direct competitor in Helldivers 2 — both are automatic weapons with medium armor penetration, but the Adjudicator deals nearly double the damage with its shots at the expense of firing slightly slower and having even less ammo per magazine.

If you're a fan of the AR-23P Liberator Penetrator, then the Adjudicator will be a nice change of pace. It hits much harder, and if you can control its recoil, it'll be more reliable at spraying down targets like Berserkers and Brood Commanders. The gun's low magazine capacity means you'll have fewer bullets to use against swarms, but this shouldn't be an issue as long as you're carrying a reliable sidearm.

How Good Is The Adjudicator In Helldivers 2?

Pros

Cons

  • Relatively high damage per round
  • Medium armor penetration
  • Quick reloads
  • Low magazine capacity
  • Harsh recoil pattern

In practice, the Adjudicator is very difficult to use. Holding down the trigger causes the gun to violently kick sideways, severely limiting its effective range. However, if you use it like a regular Marksman Rifle in semi-auto mode, you can get plenty of mileage with it when it comes to dealing with most basic infantry. Refrain from using this weapon in full auto unless you're firing while crouched.

While you can definitely bring the Adjudicator against the bugs, it likely won't perform as well as some of the best guns versus Terminids in Helldivers 2. The gun's 25-round magazine won't be as effective at clearing Hunter swarms compared to the regular Liberator or the LAS-16 Sickle. However, the Adjudicator's stronger damage profile means it can be used against Hive Guards, Brood Commanders, and Bile Spewers rather effectively.
