SOS Beacon is a handy stratagem that allows you to send a distress signal visible to other players undertaking missions on the same planet. If you’re struggling with a mission, you can easily request assistance from other players using this feature.

How to Fix SOS Beacon Not Working in Helldivers

It’s important to point out that the developers are still working to fix this issue. However, we can share some tips that might solve the problem or at least help you deal with it.

Turn Off Crossplay

Crossplay lets players from different platforms play together, but it can cause problems sometimes. Turning off crossplay and then turning it back on can fix the issue. So, if your SOS beacon isn’t working, give this a try. For that, follow these simple steps:

In the pause menu, go to the ‘Options’ tab.
Next, choose ‘Gameplay’ and find ‘Crossplay.’
Now, simply turn it off and save your changes.

Check Your Internet Connection

It might sound obvious, but it's crucial to make sure your device has a stable internet connection while playing Helldivers 2. If your connection is faulty, Helldivers won't be able to see your SOS beacon.

Restart the Game

If you have tried all of the above methods and the error still hasn’t gone away, you can try the good ol’ “turn it off and on to make it work again,” and who knows, it just might.
