Warbonds are the main source of weapons, armor, and cosmetics in Helldivers 2, and once players exhaust the free Warbond in the Superstore, all that's left are the premium ones that are paid for with Super Credits. The latter is a very rare currency, and unless players want to use real money, they'll want to be wise with how they spend it.
Masters of Ceremony is one of the many Premium Warbonds in Helldivers 2. It's arguably the best in terms of thematic and cosmetic value, but from a practical standpoint, it leaves a lot to be desired. If you're on the fence about buying this Warbond, here's a quick review of its contents.

Illuminate Leviathans in Helldivers 2 are tough, but they can be killed relatively quickly if you know where to hit them.
Is the Masters of Ceremony Warbond Worth Getting?
The answer to this question is situational. If you're a new player who's just about to buy their first Warbond, then you should definitely stay away from Masters of Ceremony and focus on the others first. While it has some awesome-looking uniforms, a cool ceremonial rifle and saber, and the One True Flag Stratagem, this Warbond is arguably the worst when it comes to practical value. This is due to a number of reasons:
- The passives for both Masters of Ceremony armor sets don't offer much value (your limbs have a slightly reduced chance of getting crippled).
- The R-2 Amendment Marksman Rifle deals high damage, but it suffers from lack of penetration and a small magazine size.
- The CQC-2 Saber performs about as well as the other one-handed melee weapons.
- The One True Flag is just a regular, spear-type melee weapon that occupies your Support Weapon slot.
- The Pyrotech Grenade is good, but so are other grenades from other Warbonds.
- The Sample Scanner booster is highly situational and offers no combat-related bonuses (it gives players a 15% chance to gain double samples.
The contents of the Masters of Ceremony Warbond aren't necessarily bad, but you can get so much more for 1,000 Super Credits. Warbonds like Democratic Detonation, Cutting Edge, and Polar Patriots offer items that are far better than Masters of Ceremony.
Unless the items in this Warbond get buffed, Masters of Ceremony should be at the bottom of the players' priority lists. Every other Warbond in the game has more valuable things to offer, from amazing primary weapons to helpful boosters and powerful stratagems.
It's safe to consider Masters of Ceremony as a novelty Warbond. No matter how middling its items are, it's hard to deny just how good the ceremonial armor sets look, and carrying a flag of Super Earth as all hell breaks loose around you gives off such an immaculate vibe.
