The attack on Cyberstan introduced Megafactory maps to Helldivers 2, and with it comes a slew of new objectives, both primary and secondary. Raze Strategic Infrastructure falls under the latter, but unlike other side objectives like Gunship Towers and outposts, these ones are unmarked, causing some confusion among the playerbase. Thankfully, while the lack of markers does make things a bit harder, this objective in Helldivers 2 is quite simple, albeit a little tedious to complete.

Helldivers 2 Raze Strategic Infrastructure Side Mission Guide

This side mission works much like the ones on Illuminate planets where you have to take out a specific number of Overseers. Instead of going for enemy units, here, you need to blow up as many strategic Automaton buildings as possible, including:

  • Bot Fabricators
  • Gunship Towers
  • Cannon Towers
  • Anti-Air Guns
  • Fuel Silos

That's not all, though. This objective also counts structures found all over Megafactories, including active smoke stacks, refineries, and big buildings. If it's bellowing flames, surrounded by troops, armed with cannons, or painted in red, then it's a valid target.

This side mission really is just about blowing everything up. There's no telling if or when it'll become part of the mission you're dropping in, but since you're fighting Automatons, you best bring anti-tank weapons along. The Leveller from the Siege Breakers Warbond is great for destroying big buildings, but literally anything with a high Demolition Force will do as well.

Other good weapons and stratagems to bring include:

  • Recoilless Rifle
  • Quasar Cannon
  • Exploding Crossbow
  • Eruptor
  • Grenade Pistol
  • Ultimatum
  • One-Two Assault Rifle
  • Orbital Precision Strike
  • Orbital Gatling Barrage
  • Orbital HE/Walking Barrage
  • Bastion

The Bastion tank is incredibly strong in Megafactory missions. It can three-shot Vox Engines, two-shot Factory Striders, and instantly delete everything else. Just be careful that you don't get blasted by a barrage of rockets.

Megafactory missions tend to have plenty of anti-air guns protecting the factories themselves, making Eagle stratagems impossible to use unless players can disable the enemy's defenses. The list above are not just good for destroying random stuff, but they're also quite practical against pretty much everything else that the bots and cyborgs can throw at you.

The Raze Strategic Infrastructure objective doesn't seem to include every single building in a Megafactory, so all you need to do is destroy enough buildings until the progress meter is filled. You can easily do this while completing your other mission objectives or while you're focusing enemies like Vox Engines and large masses of other targets.
