The Ultimatum has remained one of the best secondary weapons in Helldivers 2 since its release, and even with a nerf, it's still a powerhouse of a weapon that demands to spill the blood and oil of Super Earth's enemies. How to Get the GP-20 Ultimatum in Helldivers 2

The GP-20 Ultimatum can be purchased from the Servants of Freedom Warbond on Page 2 for 40 Medals. While this will require 1,000 Super Credits, it's a Warbond that's definitely worth it for this weapon. The GP-20 Ultimatum is a Special Secondary Weapon, meaning it isn't restricted as a Stratagem, and can be brought into battle instead of a Pistol or Melee weapon.

While the GP-20 Ultimatum does have incredible power, it fires single projectiles and can only have a maximum ammo count of 2, with one in the chamber and one in the reserve. However, despite the limited ammo capacity, the GP-20 Ultimatum is still worth using, and we'll showcase why below.

How to Use the GP-20 Ultimatum in Helldivers 2

The GP-20 Ultimatum fires heavy explosive projectiles that detonate on impact. As a sidearm, the GP-20 Ultimatum allows players to wield a one-handed weapon, but that also comes at the cost of a heavy drop, so you'll need to aim high to reach further distances. Nevertheless, the GP-20 Ultimatum is great for both heavily armored units and patrols of populated areas.

The GP-20 Ultimatum has a kill radius of 12 meters, so to avoid being blown up along with your enemies, ensure you're at least 15 meters away from the blast. When using the Ultimatum at close-range, it's advised to fire it and immediately dive backwards to avoid being killed in the blast.

As an Anti-Tank II Penetration weapon, the Ultimatum can instantly kill any enemy below Factory Striders and Vox Engines. This means that with a direct-impact shot, Hulks, War Striders, Bile Titans, and more, will be instantly eradicated, but heavier forces will require more shots.

While the GP-20 Ultimatum did have a Demolition Force of 50, it has since been nerfed to 40. This means that it cannot destroy Stratagem Jammers and other destructible sub-objectives.
