Eye of Liberty
How to Get the 2-Year Anniversary Cape
Helldivers 2 celebrates yet another anniversary on February 8, 2026, and players can net themselves a sweet reward to showcase their loyalty. With the Eye of Liberty cape, players can bring the left side of the iconic Helldivers logo into battle on their back, adorned in gold.
The Eye of Liberty cape is available to all Helldivers 2 players who log into the game between February 1 and February 28. After, players will see this delightful cape added to their armory on March 2. Whether it's your first anniversary cape or the latest, it's always a good time to celebrate where Helldivers 2 has come.
Reckoning's Cheer
How to Get the Holiday Cape
Helldivers 2 got holly and jolly in December 2025 and released the Reckoning's Cheer cape for free. This cape was to celebrate the festive cheer with the Festival of Reckoning. This winter holiday is a three-day opportunity to spend time with loved ones, sing carols, and kill enemies of managed democracy with more Stratagems.
The Reckoning's Cheer cape was awarded to players who logged into Helldivers 2 between December 18 and December 31, 2025. While the festivities may be over, there's always 2026's Festival of Reckoning to look forward to, and hopefully another cape.

How to Get the Oshaune Cape
There is no greater army than the Helldivers, and Arrowhead knows it. When faced with a grueling challenge to fight to liberate Oshaune, a Hive World for the Terminids, Helldivers rallied forward and liberated the planet with over 11,694,130,528 kills and just 270,927,604 casualties.
To celebrate the hard-fought victory of Oshaune that made the Creek look like a daycare, Helldivers 2 released the Against the Tyrant Cloud cape for players to claim by logging in between December 10 and December 17, 2025.
Veridical Ideology
How to Get the Constitution Cape
Liberty Day is a grand holiday celebrated on Super Earth every October 26. It's the most important holiday of all. With Liberty Day arriving in Helldivers 2, players were given the R-2124 Constitution, a Marksman Rifle, and the task to kill 40,000,000 enemies as a community with the new weapon.
Players managed to succeed in killing 40 million enemies with the Constitution, and as such, anyone who logged into Helldivers 2 between October 26 and November 2, 2025, was rewarded with the Veridical Ideology cape.
Pillars of Freedom
How to Get the Review-Bomb Cape
Who knew that the greatest enemy of Super Earth would be the publisher of the game itself? On May 3, 2024, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that Helldivers 2 would only be playable by those with a PlayStation Network account, even on Steam, which means that over 177 countries that didn't have access to PSN would be unable to play the game they paid for.
This received immense backlash, and players began review-bombing Helldivers 2 on Steam en masse. Thankfully, SIE rescinded their decision just three days later, and Arrowhead celebrated the community's loyalty with the Pillars of Freedom cape, which looks like a review-bomb. Players could get the Pillars of Freedom cape by logging into Helldivers 2 between June 27 and July 4, 2025, just in time for Independence Day!
Ingress-81
How to Get the Black Hole Cape
Ingress-81 is an interesting purple cape, gifted to Helldivers for their genius and overwhelming numbers that were useful in bringing Station-81 back online to detect Illuminate invaders entering the solar system through a singularity. The cape was awarded to the community after they solved the ARG between February 2025 and May 2025 across Discord and YouTube.
Anyone who logged into Helldivers 2 between May 9, 2025, and July 22, 2025, was rewarded with the Ingress-81 cape. This gave players over 2 months to claim this cape, and some might not have ever known why or how they got it, but they can thank the community for their ARG efforts for this one.
Protector of the Heart
How to Get the Super Earth Cape
On May 20, 2025, the invasion of Super Earth began. The Illuminate used their cowardly tech to warp to Super Earth, and their invasion was both swift and unjust. Luckily, Helldivers answered the call and defended their great home with blood, sweat, and bullets, leading to their victory.
To celebrate the victory of Super Earth and fighting off the fleeing Illuminate, players were given the Protector of the Heart cape if they logged into Helldivers 2 between June 17 and June 24, 2025. If you fought on Super Earth's soil, then you're a true veteran who loves managed democracy.
Emblem of Freedom
How to Get the 'Press F to Pay Respects' Cape
Players had a community goal to get this cape, for which a Major Order was issued on social media. Across the official Helldivers 2 accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and X (Formerly Twitter), if players managed to comment "F" underneath Helldivers 2's posts, the entire community would be given the Emblem of Freedom cape.
The Emblem of Freedom cape requires you to have logged into Helldivers 2 between February 8 and February 15, 2025. It pays respects to those fallen in battle, as it parodies the eternal "Press F to Pay Respects" moment in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, in which a button prompt allows the player to mourn a fellow soldier. This term has since been adopted by the internet across every game.
Eye of Freedom
How to Get the 1-Year Anniversary Cape
Helldivers 2 celebrated its 1-year anniversary in-game with the Eye of Freedom cape on February 8, 2025. Helldivers 2 was an incredible success, and with such an active playerbase, Arrowhead generously gifted its Divers a new cape, which featured the right half of the Helldivers skull logo adorned in shiny silver.
Players could only get the Eye of Freedom cape if they logged into Helldivers 2 between February 8 and February 15, 2025. Missing this 7-day block means that players couldn't wear the 1-year anniversary cape, but there's always the second year, and even the third in 2027!
Fallen Hero's Vengeance
How to Get the Malevelon Creek Cape
On April 3, 2024, Helldivers 2 added the Fallen Hero's Vengeance cape. This cape was to commemorate Malevelon Creek Memorial Day, in which Helldivers could pay their respects to those lost on Malevelon Creek, which was one of the hardest planets to liberate when the game launched.
To get the Malevelon Creep cape, players needed to have logged into Helldivers 2 between April 3 and April 10, 2024. Those who missed this 7-day window back in 2024 will, unfortunately, not be able to prove that they are veterans of the Creek.
