When is the Next Meteor Shower in Heartopia?
Meteor Showers are tied to Heartopia’s dynamic weather system and are not on a fixed, predictable daily schedule. Instead, they appear occasionally as special nighttime weather events.
The next Meteor Shower in Heartopia is expected to happen today, on February 27, 2025.
When a Meteor Shower is active, you’ll see a moon icon surrounded by stars on the watch interface. If the icon isn’t there, you can scroll through the weekly weather forecast to see if one is scheduled for an upcoming day. When listed, the forecast also shows the exact start time, which is extremely important since Meteor Showers only last for a limited window.
A Meteor Shower is typically active for around six hours in server time. Once it ends, all Meteor Shower–exclusive content disappears until the next event. This includes Starfall Shards and Doris the vendor, so timing your play session matters a lot. You can log in a little before the listed start time. That way, you won’t waste any precious time.
Meteor Shower Location
Meteor Showers affect the entire world visually, but the most important area during a Meteor Shower is Onsen Mountain. This is where Starfall Shards spawn mostly, in addition to the Fishing Village Square, making it the most important location to visit during the event.
Starfall Shards appear as special mining nodes scattered across the region. These shards are exclusive materials that only appear during this event and are required for achievements and special interactions.
There are nine total Starfall Shard nodes per Meteor Shower, but their exact positions change every event. As such, you’ll need to explore the area thoroughly in search of the Starfall Shards.
Doris’s Location
Doris is one of Heartopia’s secret vendors and a major highlight of Meteor Showers. She is a hidden vendor who only appears during specific weather conditions, like meteor showers. Doris doesn’t stay permanently and won’t appear outside of special weather, so it’s worth finding her.

Starfall Shards come in different colors, but not every color appears in every event. You can easily spot the nodes since they glow differently from standard mining spots.

Visit Doris
Another important thing to do during a Meteor Shower is tracking down Doris. While Doris can appear during other special weather conditions, her Meteor Shower shop is completely unique.
When you interact with Doris during this event, you’ll immediately notice that her shop looks different. Instead of her standard offerings, she brings a Meteor Shower–exclusive furniture shop. Every item she sells during this time is meteor-themed and comes in different colors inspired by the starfall shards.
Another major difference is her currency. During a Meteor Shower, Doris does not accept Wishing Stars. Instead, all purchases are made using Starfall Shards. You’ll have to trade Starfall Shards that match the required color variant in order to get each furniture piece.
Because this shop is only available during Meteor Showers, missing Doris means waiting until the next Meteor Shower to access these decorations again.
Unlock Achievements
During a Meteor Shower, you can unlock two different achievements:
Stardust Collector: For this achievement, simply collect 60 Starfall Shards of any color before the Meteor Shower ends. The shard colors don’t matter, so just focus on mining every meteorite node you can find.
Beneath the Meteor Shower: For this achievement, you’ll need to visit Doris during an active Meteor Shower and buy a special Meteor Shower item. After buying it, team up with a friend and perform the associated action together.
Beneath the Meteor Shower achievement only unlocks once both steps are completed during the event window, so make sure to coordinate with your friends.
