You can catch the Mini Moon Moth in the Suburbs area of Heartopia. However, it will only spawn once you reach Level 3 in the Insect Catching Hobby. If you’re below this level, the Mini Moon Moth will not appear at all, no matter how long you search.
It appears during Sunny or Rainbow weather and can spawn in the Morning, Afternoon, and Evening.
While it’s available throughout most of the day, it’s easier to spot in the evening, as the Moth’s pale glow stands out more against darker surroundings.
