How to Unlock Latte Recipe in Heartopia
The Latte recipe cannot be bought directly, and it does not unlock through quests alone. Instead, it is tied to cooking progression and ingredient substitution. Before you can unlock Latte, you need to have already unlocked the basic Coffee recipe. Without it, Latte will remain locked in your collections no matter what ingredients you have.
Coffee becomes available after you reach Cooking Level 2. Once you hit that level, you can purchase the Coffee recipe from Massimo. To make Coffee, you only need four Coffee Beans.
After that’s done, you can successfully make a Latte for the first time, and its recipe will automatically be unlocked in your collection.
If the Latte does not unlock, it usually means the ingredient swap was done incorrectly.
How to Make a Latte in Heartopia
Once Coffee is unlocked, head to any regular stove and interact with it to open the cooking menu. Select the Coffee recipe from the list. At first glance, it looks like you can only make Coffee, but this is where ingredient replacement comes into play.
Coffee normally uses four Coffee Beans. To make a Latte, you need to replace some of the Coffee Beans with Milk. The correct ingredient combination for a Latte is two Coffee Beans and two Milk. When adjusting ingredients, just replace two of the Coffee Bean slots with Milk. Make sure you are using Milk and not another dairy ingredient.
After adjusting the ingredients, start cooking as usual. Once the cooking process finishes, you’ll have successfully made a Latte.
The Latte is useful both as a consumable and as a collection unlock, especially for players who want to unlock all Gourmet Life recipes.
You can also make a limited-edition Iced Latte during the Winter Frost Event. It is an exclusive variant that can be crafted only during the event and only while using the Penguin Stove. The Iced Latte recipe can be obtained from Massimo. It requires Frosting, Coffee Beans, and Milk x2.
