Pets need a lot of care in Heartopia, so when you obtain your first pet, it's going to require a heap of responsibility. You have to feed them, clean them, and play with them to keep them happy and healthy. It can feel a bit overwhelming at first, which is why it's okay to board them to take a break.

By boarding pets, you can give yourself a break from caring for these adorable animals. This can be useful not just to take some time away from the responsibility, but also to replace the pet with one that has different and more desirable traits, since you can't return a pet to Mrs. Joan once you adopt it. Below, we'll talk you through how to board pets in Heartopia and what it does.

How to Replace Your Pets in Heartopia

To board your pets in Heartopia, you must first reach 3,000 growth points. After reaching 3,000 growth points with your pet, you can interact with it and select the "Go Out" option. While your pet is following you, take it to Mrs. Joan's Pet Store, interact with the blue shelf by the reception desk, and select the "Pet Boarding" option that appears. From here, you can select a pet to board for 20,000 Gold and view the pets you have already boarded.

If you're struggling to get growth points in Heartopia, then you can just spend more time with your pet by playing with them, feeding them, and cleaning them. In our experience, feeding your pet is the fastest way to earn growth points, but it still might take a few days before the points are high enough to reach 3,000.

You can take your boarded pets back for free after 6 am the next day.
