How to Get Ore in Harvest Moon: the Winds of Anthos
There are a couple of ways of getting ore in the Winds of Anthos. In the more northern locations and some places far to the south of the starting area, there are several locations that have gold and silver ore out in the world. But for the most part, players will need to dig up their ore in mines. There are a bunch of mines to choose from, but most early game players will be limited to the first mine location, Lenctenbury Mine. In this mine, players will be able to find raw Opals, Topaz, Moonstone, Garnets, Amethyst, Crystal, Agate, and Jade as well as Stone, Iron, Bronze, Gold, and Silver ore.
Where to Find Gold Ore in Lenctenbury Mine
In this Harvest Moon, gold ore can be found starting around level 23 or so as individual ore. They can be found under the ground; players will have to douse for them. They are always inside the smallest size of dousing circles, so look for these tiny circles to find single gold ore.
If players are looking for gold in bulk, they'll need to head further down in the mine. The larger gold chunks start appearing around level 31 or 32, so players will need to bring loads of food to restore stamina to help them get down to that level the first time.
Gold ore looks like the same color as Bronze ore, so players will have to keep testing gold-colored deposits until they find what they are looking for. Once they get a hold of some gold, make sure to take it to the Doc in this relaxing Switch game in order to get it turned into Gold that can be used to build things and fulfill quests.
