Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions pre-orders will net players an exclusive Firebolt Supreme Broom Skin for those that pre-order on Xbox, Steam, or the Epic Games Store, while PlayStation Plus users have another way of getting it. Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is the next Harry Potter video game, and the first major release since 2023's Hogwarts Legacy. But whereas Hogwarts Legacy was an open world action-RPG, Quidditch Champions is a sports game.

Based on the popular Wizarding World sport, Quidditch Champions has players compete in Quidditch matches across a single-player career mode and competitive online multiplayer modes. The game will let players create their own character and fully customize their appearance, but Quidditch Champions also has familiar characters from the Harry Potter books and movies as well. Besides the custom character, four playable characters have been confirmed for the Quidditch Champions roster so far: Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Cho Chang, and Draco Malfoy. It's possible there will be more characters to choose from at launch, but if so, they have yet to be revealed.

Who Would You Like To See As A Playable Quidditch Champions Character?

The Harry Potter sporting spin-off is about to kick off another round of playtesting before its release in September. A few names have been expectedly included in the game, such as Harry, Ron, and Draco, but it would be great so see some additional characters from the past like James Potter. I think it would be hilarious to have some unexpected playable characters like Dobby, Voldemort, or Dumbledore as playable characters as well, they could really have some fun with some of their inclusions. Could you imagine an enormous Hagrid on one of those brooms?!

In the meantime, the same trailer that confirmed Quidditch Champions' playable characters and game modes also revealed a pre-order bonus that fans can look forward to as well. Those that pre-order Quidditch Champions will get an exclusive Firebolt Supreme Broom Skin for use in the game. It should be noted that even though Quidditch Champions has been confirmed for the Switch, that version of the game is currently without a release date, and so those on Nintendo will be missing out on the pre-order bonus for now. It's worth pointing out that Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions retails for $29.99, so it's launching at a budget price.

Gamers on PlayStation, meanwhile, will be able to get the Quidditch Champions pre-order bonus without even pre-ordering the game. Since Quidditch Champions is one of the free PS Plus games for September 2024, PlayStation Plus subscribers will also be treated to the Firebolt Supreme Broom Skin when they go to claim the game. The skin will be available from September 3 to September 30 through PlayStation Plus, same as the game.

Harry Potter fans have been asking for a new Quidditch video game experience ever since Hogwarts Legacy launched without Quidditch. It's too early to say if Quidditch Champions will deliver a memorable experience or not, but fans will find out when the game launches in September. Any Harry Potter fans impressed by the trailer may want to pre-order if they want to get their hands on the Firebolt Supreme Broom Skin.
